    Cub Cadet 100

Maybe try tying the clutch pedal down, then tapping on the pressure plates.

    I finally started my pond

Those Channel Cats will love those frogs! Pond looks great! I need to restock our pond that went dry in drought last year. As the water dried up, cranes flew in & ate all the fish as they had nowhere to hide.

    FEL

I'm powering steering with the charge/lift pump on the hydro unit. Joysticks work nice. I went cheap as I could. I have only one centered tilt cylinder, but plan to change to two tilts. Standard two lift cylinders. I will later likely be adding a grapple too. I have a 3rd spool I will add...

    Grapple on the way!

Hoping to build a grapple for my small FEL I use to clean calf stalls. Backing out of stalls, the posts tend to drag bedding off the forks. A grapple would prevent that, plus many other uses.

Vented cap. Our MF Super 90 has that drip/burn start system also. It's somewhere around a 63 model.

Gas line busted = no heat

I quit hunting squirell years ago, but used to put them in the crock pot with BBQ sauce. Tastes great & tender too! Just use your favorite BBQ sauce. But as said, best to soak overnight first.

Gas line busted = no heat

Had to put in a new septic line at our milk parlor yesterday. The pipe wasn't going but 18" deep next to the parlor. The new line was going to pass through where the telephone line was laid by phone company. Figured just to dig, as telephone line should be way deeper. Wrong! Telephone cable...

Gas line busted = no heat

Greg, propane regulators sometimes do the same thing. My gas guys pour warm water over top of the regulators to de-ice them internally. Takes very little warmth to take care of it. Might be your problem.

    help name that dog

I don't know why, but soon as I saw the pup's pic..."Skippy" came to mind. That was before I read "Sloopy" in the replies too. Seems whatever you decide, it needs to start with S & end with Y.

Need to make my own dumpster

We've went through 4 companies with dumpster service. BFI used to be ours, then they jacked up the price, plus reduced pickups. Then the next 2 companies could never remember we paid for service! Now we're with Rumpke and so far so good. BUT, if they forget to pick up and we don't let them...

Blacksmithian....looks like you have your hydraulic filter in suction line like I did. Wondering if you have cavitation when using in cold weather until oil warms? I knew it would be better on return line, but wanted to make sure any welding residue, etc did NOT get to my pump. When I switch...

    FEL

I'm using a hydraulic pump off a Case 446. Power steering pumps are used a lot, but you'll need a heavy duty one off a larger truck for long life. Far as joysticks, out Cat 910 payloader has a sort of joystick. It's actually a standard 2 spool, but connected to one arm. Forw/Rev, then pull...

No using a belly mower, but I didn't want to anyway as my deck is shot, plus I have many others to mow with. My uprights & the underframe are all connected to carry oil. Oil temps never get high as the metal is a good heat-sink. Oil is supplied to pump from lower of right upright, & returned...

    FEL

I built my FEL from scratch, & from scratching my head. Figured to build to fit my tractor, and liked the challenge of doing it on my own. A couple things I should have done... 1: used two tilt cylinders to do away with the high "cross-over" tube.(I was being cheap, just buying one cylinder)...

Nice........and NEW! Only had one brand new vehicle in my life. 35 years ago I bought a leftover Honda SL125 off the showroom floor. At 15 I thought I'd died & went to heaven! Enjoy that sickle, as I'm sure you will! But please be careful! ........Makes me wanna go ride my Virago!...but...
