    Back to the Basic

That one made me laugh. I remember my dad being upset when I was about five or six years old and broke his "Razor sharpening glass" in the bathroom. He always said the other glasses he tried never worked as well as his old one.~~~~~~~~~~

    A little wood

Geez bczoom, what all are you heating at three cords a month. That is one hell of a lot of wood even for softwood and a couple of oversize stoves?

Who says you can't get Grim Reapers stuck?

Please note that the man knows how to properly use protection draped over the cable. A long time ago I watched a cable hook go back through a windshield And then out the back window of a Ford Bronco. The Ford and the vehicle pulling both had their wheels spinning at the time.

    RUST PREVENTION on RTV900

I reckon your right bczoom, never tried it when it was that cold. I guess if a sheep freezes it would have to be really, really cold~~~~~KOBE

    RUST PREVENTION on RTV900

Good question, I would think that much below freezing you would be lucky to get it to leave the can. That said, I use it all year round for most projects, but on the mower decks and my RTV it was applied in warmer weather. In the future, I am going to buy it by the gallon and use a spray gun in...

    RUST PREVENTION on RTV900

I also had never heard of Fluid Film until introduced do it by members of this forum. I guess I have used it about a year or so now on anything that rusts or corrodes. Never found anything better. I uesd to own commercial fishing boats (Salt water) and rust and corrosion were a daily issue. Sure...

    My own compairison

Just a quick note Tim, After I put the Grim Reapers on my 900, the ride improved about 100 %, along with the traction in snow ice and mud.

    Where's Doc

Think about this Doc. When we came off the gold standard in 1933, a greenback was worth one dollar. Nixon removed the last promise "Redeemable for $-----in gold or silver" in 1971. The US dollar today has inflated down to approx. three cents. At the rate we are creating electronic money, you may...

RTV X SERIES, DEALER INPUT ON ISSUES

Sure nice to get a new rig, whatever it might be. However, after way to many years of trying to keep ahead of the game, I have learned that new models of any type are likely to contain a few bugs. Now I try to let them sort it out for a couple of years before I move up. Sadly, in a couple of...

    How much weight ?

Great job on those wings. Would not be an advantage to me as I have to navigate beteen eight foot gates. Looked at your tool box a few months ago and really liked that also. You now have a mold, so you should market a few. The one from bota is about as useful as Obama's insurance...

RTV-900 Best overall tire for snow plowing

Chains would have been cheaper for sure. I did the reapers because my OEM worksites would not even get me around my few acres. Also was concerned about damage to a half mile of blacktop. (Ground squirrels have already done enough damage burrowing under it) Anyhow, after comments from Mark Sibole...

    Windshield clamps

Darn, should have realized they were die-cast. Might still work though. They are to hold a 1 1/2" support bar in place, but they really do not have to support any side load so thay may still work out. Sure would be a lot quicker then what I'm doing now~~~KOBE
