    V4210 complete cabs only $1200

You're welcome for the pics. I wanted to let you guys see what was involved in installing the cab . Pictures are worth 1000's of words and there were none to be had for this model cab in all of the internet. No problems at all. I just told them where I was going and why. They did not charge me...

    V4210 complete cabs only $1200

The literature says 2013 and older RTV 900s. I have a '11 900XT I have not looked at taking the doors off so I'm not sure. You can however latch the doors in place while open. It is intended to be driven with them open. I imagine that this cab uses a different windshield than what you have...

    V4210 complete cabs only $1200

Went up yesterday and got mine. Great experience. No Issues. I called my credit card company from my home number before I left to let them know what I was up to. Left around 8:00 in the morning, got back around 5:00 in the evening. Worked until about midnight putting it together. It is a nice...

More! More! More! Thursday can't come soon enough... Question for you Bob, did you have to pay tax or a duty on it when entering the US with it?

    V4210 complete cabs only $1200

Literature for the cab states that it is a 20,000 BTU unit. Those are half the price of the Kubota one. Thanks for the info. Will have to look at the cab, the only thing that would still have me go with the kubota is if it plumbs into the cab's ventilation system.

    V4210 complete cabs only $1200

Given your experience I am definitely going to call my credit card company the day before I leave from my home number to let them know my intentions. I had the HD struts put on when I bought my machine so I'm set there. I did that because of the plow. I priced out the wipers and heater locally...

    V4210 complete cabs only $1200

I called this morning and it all sounds legit. Say they bought 60 of them from Kubota at a rock bottom price. Therefore they are selling them at a good price. Makes sense that Kubota would be trying to get rid of them since they don't fit the new model. Here are the questions I asked; Curtis...

    New Mirrors for the RTV

I got the same ones this past winter. I love them! They are invaluable for plowing snow. So much less neck strain!

    A little wood

Thanks guys, It's always great to look through others people's work to get ideas etc. I have more planned but life always seems to get in the way. LOL, how true!

    A little wood

Along the same lines, we have a little joke going on here. If / when my wife says that I'm right, I get to put it on the calendar. I've been right a few times. Last time was back in February of 2009...

    A little wood

A face ford is 4' x 8' x the length of the log. Could be 16" where 3 face would equal a cord or 24" where 2 face would equal a cord. I heat with a gasification boiler and (typically) go through 6 full cord a winter and then another 2 full ford through the summer for domestic hot water. That is...

    How much weight ?

Thanks, Those wings have made all the difference in the world. They need to be modified a bit to mount on the smallish curtis moldboard but they do work. That tool box was a major PITA. it works great and fits like a glove but it took me FOREVER to make. Mostly because I was using a 2 part...

RTV-900 Best overall tire for snow plowing

I tell you though, we have one of those blue and white Sno-Tube brand tubes from the late 80's / early 90's and it is coveted. It is by far the fastest tube we have. It glides smooth as can be and seems to be 10x more resilient than the cheapie tubes of today. Next fastest are our ones from...

RTV-900 Best overall tire for snow plowing

The rattle is the cheap window film windshield and is caused by the tires chewing through the snow looking for traction. I may have to look into the hand throttle. My dealer said it wasn't necessary with the 900XT models. Thanks for the advice there! The run is probably 5' to 6' wide. It...

    How much weight ?

I put about 400# of tube sand in the bed right up tight to the cab. I use this and studded tire chains for traction. I have the Curtis plow but have modified it to add another 6" to the height of the moldboard and I've added Beyer snowplow wings which add another 20" to the width. It works...

RTV-900 Best overall tire for snow plowing

I have the work-site tires on mine and put studded tire chains on the back. I actually have studded chains for all 4 tires but haven't seen the need to put them on the fronts since the first year I go them... The chains will chew up the pavement a bit if you spin, so I try not to. I do quite...

    Illuminated Switches

I'm not sure about the newest model that was just released but my 2011 900XT DOES run the hour meter whenever the key is turned. Regardless of whether or not the motor is actually running.

    Sides for the bed

I always carry a few rope ratchet straps and if I'm going to load it up with anything heavy I put them on and cinch them up. I don't leave the sides on all the time, only when I need them. They really limits visibility when backing up.
