    RTV forums Restructure

I like what you've done. I don't post a ton, but I do check in from time to time. I agree that one RTV forum is best and I also like that the sticky quantity has been reduced. Love the fact that you ask for the user's input and act on it so quickly!

    NEW Front Mud Flaps

It's a Japanese brand. Everything is metric isn't it?

    NEW Front Mud Flaps

Agreed, If you could throw some dimensions down on paper and upload it, that would be great. A picture of a drawing in the dirt would be a close second.

    RTV 900 seat

Here you go. Just so happened my RTV spent the night in the garage last night.

Shifting greatly improved! Why didn't I think of that?

I've gotten better with the shifting but there are still times where I need to blip the throttle more than once to get it to engage. Last year there was a LOT of cursing going on and I was seriously thinking that I had made a mistake. This year I am more used to it, added the wings on the...

    Interior Design

I don't mind the seating position, my biggest complaint is legroom / dash ergonomics. shutting the darn thing off as your driving when you move your knee is no good. It needs another 2" of knee room and a different layout for the key / horn. The shiftier needs some work too. Spoiled by shuttle...

    Wings for the Curtis plow

Would love to check it out :) Unfortunatly the links don't work for me :( Edit: I searched for your posts and found this thread with working links. I really like all your pics and info. Just need to get past the christmas bills, county, state, and federal taxes in order to get some play money...

    Wings for the Curtis plow

The plow is just under 8' wide with the wings and the RTV has no issues pushing the snow. I do however have studded tire chains and 600# of sand in the bed. I was really impressed with how it did in the snow here this year. I took it 200 yards down over our hill to plow a tubing run with banked...

    Wings for the Curtis plow

I've never had the shed full, it can hold 24 full cord. I've had maybe 18 to 20 in it tops. I use 8 cord a year for heat and hot water in my Switzer boiler and I ideally want to use two year seasoned wood. The wings weigh either 60# or 80# and the moldboard extension might be another 20#. I was...

    Wings for the Curtis plow

So I decided to give the Beyer snow plow wings a try this year and I love them. Got them from e-bay and installed them in late December. The only issue is that the electric lift is pretty well maxed out. There are some situations where it doesn't like to lift to the top of its travel now :o I...

    poor mans windshield

Just wanted to give a big thanks to Kerry for this incredibly cheap and easy solution. I installed my windshield a bit before Christmas and it works like a dream! My accountant (also my wife) is pleased I didn't need to go out and spend $700 on a windshield. A pic of the fabricated framework...

    Illuminated Switches

The short answer is yes, they need additional wiring. Now the long answer... -Your standard SPST (Single Pole Single Throw) switch has a spot for two connections. Line in and line out. The switch is in the middle of that, either making or breaking the connection between the two. -An illuminated...

    Sides for the bed

I used 1" x 1" square tubing, 36" in length. Center to center running down the bed I believe is 46.5" and across the bed 53" (both center to center) I was thinking of making a U shaped bracket with some 3/4" square tube to slip down into the tops of the 1" to hold things together but I really...

    Sides for the bed

Built some sides for the bed this past week. I used four 36" long 1" square tube sections for the poles. They slip right in the existing pockets. I cut four 50" long rough 1x10's for the sides. Those 4 boards then soaked up an entire quart of Minwax ebony stain. 3/8" bolts and eye bolts were...

    Cabin or dash light

Here, Had to go out and close up the barn and while I was there I took this nasty cell phone image of the setup. You can see I used Two-Guns Idea for an overhead switch plate. I just need to cut off those bolts before I impail myself!
