    RTV Wiring Diagrams

Spudhauler, just so you know, I used your wiring diagram that you posted here to find the wiring problem on my radiator fan of my 2007 RTV 900. I later bought a manual online for $10 that has RTV 900 wiring diagrams in it, but your post here was useful for my only real wiring issue. There are...

    Stop Solenoid Replacement

Thanks for this thread, bordercollie. I ordered myself a new stop solenoid because of it. Mine was sporadically not resetting on my 2007. I got one of the fine products from China. Should be here in a couple of weeks and only cost $58.00. What a deal! I am big on saving pennies. I saw this...

    Shifter still very sticky

Strangely enough, even though I am now an Alabamian, I bought my L4300DT from Cook Tractor in Vicksburg.

    RTV & Tires

I actually had higher pressure in the larger tire. AND, it's the one that has Max Inflation pressure 7 psi on it (the AT489). Now I'm getting afraid of that AT489. It also says on the tire that it is designed for flotation and not to exceed 25 psi to seat the bead. I'm about to decide to get...

spare tire holder for my bed rails!!!

bordercollie, you don't have much room to talk. I saw that weed wiper setup you made. That is pretty amazing too. The more I look at previous posts on this forum, the more intimidated I am. You and Peanut would make a great team!

    RTV & Tires

Here's the scoop: AT489 o/s diameter is 25.5"; Mud Wolf o/s diameter is 25.0" So, with zoom's computation, I have 25.5x3.14=80.07" on one side and 25.0x3.14=78.5" on the other. That difference of 1.57" has to be going somewhere and putting a strain on the wheels. I need to hurry up and get...

    RTV & Tires

Now that's interesting right there. I love it when you throw pie around! Incidentally my brother memorized pi to 15 decimal places. I only got to 9 -- 3.141592653. Anyhow, back to tires, I had not thought about that difference in circumference. I think I need to check the outside diameter...

    RTV & Tires

I guess I'm having a conversation with myself but I just thought (rare for me) -- I need to get new rims anyhow so I think I'll bite the bullet and buy one tire so that I have matching tires on the rear. Between the two (Mud WOLF and AT489) which one might y'all think I should match to? Or...

Sorry, I don't have a mud max tire. It's Mud Wolf.

    RTV & Tires

Okay now here is some interesting information about tire pressure on mine: 1. The AT489 tire has clearly written on the sidewall, "Max. Infl. 7 P.S.I." Weird. 2. The OEM label below the ROPS cert on the vehicle recommends 20 psi 3. I actually have 21 psi in the AT489 and 12 psi in Mud Max...

    RTV & Tires

Bordercollie, I already did just what you suggest -- I jacked up the the rear and tried to see if there was any play in the bearings in the back but none there. Sometimes I think the wander is just my imagination but other times I'm sure a feel it a little. You know, I haven't checked the air...

spare tire holder for my bed rails!!!

Peanut, I just have to tell you, this stuff you make is amazing! I'm happily married and have been for more than 40 years so I don't want you to think I'm funny or anything but if I were single, I'd move down there close to you! : ) That way you could use my TWO RTV 900's to experiment on.

    RTV & Tires

Thanks, Two Guns, but already on the front are two "Xtra Tuff Mud Max" 25x10-12. I can't put one of them on the back, right? Oh, and I deny any part in choosing these tires. : ) They were on it when I bought it a couple of weeks ago. All 4 are like new. Don't know how they came to have an...

    RTV & Tires

Look at the two tire images and tell me if this mismatch on the back might cause me to feel a little wander in the back of the vehicle when going at, say, 20 mph. One is a Carlisle "Mud Wolf", 25x11-12 and the other is a Carlisle AT489, 25x11-12.

    2011 RTV Muffler

I saw from bordercollie's approach that a picture is worth at least 1000 words. I tend to be wordy so the attachment should cut down on it for the muffler issue.

Yeah, the button is there and still works in red/grey, it's just that the image of the button is missing. It is supposed to have an image like the Quote has in red/grey or like it has in the default color. I know, I'm just being picky. : )

That's good to know too, kanook, but even when logged in, if you have the "RedGray" color scheme, it doesn't show up, I think. I'm using a Windows XP notebook. I can switch between the two color schemes and the Thanks button is there for the "Default" (Blue) color scheme but not for the...
