I'm ready to experiment. Nut damages could be from my previous check/and or adjustments.

Removed bypass linkage and pushed both levers to the stops. Still 3000psi maximum. I would adjust the servo screw again. I know that it's sensitive from previous reading. Nothing in WSM shows about how much to adjust it.

RPM has been tampered with also. Adjustments made now unloaded RPM is 3618. 3621 loaded.

Redid the RPM calculations, they were slightly off, 3523 RPM loaded. 3582 unloaded. I may have held the tach incorrectly. 400 loss is incorrect.

Nothing changed, rpm still high, 3488 RPM, 3000 psi and 40°C.

Idle is 1260 rpm. Full out 3800 RPM no load,

Ok, so harbor freight has a hand held "photo tach" https://www.harborfreight.com/digital-photo-sensor-tachometer-66632.html. reasonable price and a neat tool for my collection.

No idea what the Max RPM is or how to get the information. It's not in the WSM.

I have a sneaking suspicion that had it just been low on power that I would never have owned it. It would have been kept by the previous owner.

Can't stall it. Test condition: engine at idle, servo disconnected from throttle linkage. Transmission is in high gear, parking brake is applied. The dump bed is sitting off to the side. I manually moved the servo lever so as to try to stall the IDLE engine and it won't stall. High pressure...

Stall was done to get my measurements for high pressure on port 2. That's a symptom of my problem, it doesn't like to go uphill and stalls on even a slight incline. Charge pressure is in spec at maximum rpm. At 44°C I get 65 psi when idle and 110psi at maximum.

So I disconnected the servo and manually moved the lever at idle and the engine did not stall. I will check charge pressure shortly. The engine rpm is unknown. I don't have a tach.
