    Ignition key question

agreed. How about running a string thru the key and around the steering wheel column...if it falls out, then you still got it.

    Ignition key question

Not having exactly your tractor, I can't say. However, I've had cars where the same thing was possible, after some years of age. I consider it a feature.....never replaced a switch for only that issue.

    flooding

You two guys have me rolling on the floor with your humor.... still hoping for the best... story I'm hearing is that the water is rising more slowly than anticipated because it's soaking into the ground...hard to believe THAT much would go in such that it would actually significantly reduce...

    flooding

I can't believe that in the middle of all this you are still doing metal work!! That can wait.... the coming water won't!!! Am sure you are exhausted, I surely would be, in rearranging everything you own to higher ground... only good news is that you have had several days notice and gotten much...

    Max tongue weight, RTV 1140

If I recall correctly, the sticker on my 2011 1140 says max tongue weight is 110 lbs....and tow capacity is something like 1300 lbs. Neither seems like much to me. If I stand on the hitch, I exceed the max sticker capacity by 100% and more. Now, I do understand that everything has its limits...

    2004 RTV 900 vs 2010 RTV 900

Am wondering what your assessment of the noise level is in the 11 model...I assume you drove it.

    2004 RTV 900 vs 2010 RTV 900

I do believe that there is more insulation in the bed which helps with noise abatement, but it's what hits your ears that matters.... so guess the best thing regrading noise would be to hear one for yourself. I don't know of any changes to the engine, just haven't studied the question, which...

Peanut, Two Guns.... you stay safe. Remember that water is much more powerful than it looks...You two have good judgement and are preparing but I know that it is stressful....let us know when you can how y'all fared.

    2004 RTV 900 vs 2010 RTV 900

I'm no expert on the 900, but when I was purchasing my 1140, differences present in the newer version included better seats/foam/shape/comfort, more waterproof bottom solid behind the seat... avoids pocket book from falling to ground if it slips from rear pocket. hst transmission stops much...

    Tire Sealer

I think you are on the right path...you're gonna teach those tires how to keep their air to themselves:hammer:

    Tire Sealer

There is a formula on the label for the AMOUNT needed depending on size of the tire...quite a bit is needed for one tire.... need to follow the formula....and, with mesquite, you'll need to do all tires of concern..... I found a LOT of price variation from various stores....so, it pays to shop...
