Why is the RTVX series so highly regarded for tough work?

Well, how are you making out with the Kubota NT? Are you satisfied with it for your application?

    Time for Winter

Ya, I should do an oil change on the plow too. I had a Boss vee on my F550 that I bought used and it had condensation in it and the darn thing was froze every time you went to use it. I had to do multiple oil changes on it to get it to work properly.

    Time for Winter

Started my summer to winter changeovers today on the two Kubota's.

71 Ford 3000 power steering connections

I have a 67 3000 but I can't help because mine has no power steering.

    2004 RTV 1100 door glass

Are they that much different than the current models? Jeez, I would have hoped Kubota kept parts for longer than that.

Basic tool kit? What would you recommend?

That's something I need to do. I still have to get a spare rim and tire. I never carry spares on my RTV or ATV's and I go on long trail rides. Some day that is going to bite me in the behind, LOL

pto and left/right green arrows stay on

Hmmm, I had never heard of this issue. Good to know though.

    Radio recommendation for RTV1100

OKay, I was never a "stereo guy" so I wasn't sure if it was just cheap speakers Kubota uses or their small size.

    Radio recommendation for RTV1100

Oh okay. So it's not as easy as going to a better quality 4 inch. I don't want to start pulling stuff apart. I rarely turn the stereo on anyway. But thanks for that info! You see lots of these cool modifications that I would like, problem is I have ZERO patience to do any of them, LOL

    Radio recommendation for RTV1100

You'll probably want to upgrade speakers too. My dealer put a pretty good stereo receiver in mine, but to me you have to turn it up so much to hear it, the speakers get "tinny" sounding.

RTV Daily uses, What did you do today with your RTV?

Very nice! I also like the long bed. Especially me who only buys trucks with 8 foot beds. I sure hope it does everything you want it to do and you are satisfied with your purchase. Mine recently went on a recovery mission to pull one of the "fast" ones home out of the bush. I see where you...

VERY well said! And spot on how I feel also.

Why is the RTVX series so highly regarded for tough work?

Had these pics of the layout of my bush road. Hard to judge grade in pics, but my RTV-X1100C will drive all the way up, loaded with two buckets of pitrun gravel from my B2620 and AC on at 7 to 9 MPH in high gear. There are points where you do have to ease up on pedal to keep it pulling at full...

Why is the RTVX series so highly regarded for tough work?

I still didn't get you recent pics of the RTV hauling NT5224. I ended up playing with my antique tractors yesterday. Now it's raining out. Not that that matters in the RTV but my loader tractor is open station, LOL

    My Own Tractor Show

Thanks. I love old tractors. Trying to start my collection, but I need more storage room. Added two more orange ones because they were feeling left out, LOL

    My Own Tractor Show

When you have no antique tractor shows to go to, make your own, LOL. My 1967 Basildon built Ford 3000 Diesel, 1955 Allis Chalmers CA, 1952 AC CA, and two 1971 Massey Ferguson 7's. The MF 7 with the chrome hubcaps is untouched and all original. But the other is a darker shade of red, but...

Why is the RTVX series so highly regarded for tough work?

Hope you are happy when you get it. Like I said, not a race car, but they can do work. I hauled 330 metric tonne for my roads with my little B2620 one bucket a time. But when I got the RTV to use as a dump truck, even though it only carries two buckets, it saves a lot of time just because it...

Why is the RTVX series so highly regarded for tough work?

Here's a couple from last year for now. This is the small hill, but you really can't tell the steepness in picture. But it's a good workout walking up it. The RTV will do 7 to 9 MPH up it with the two buckets full in box and AC on. It will do the faster speed when it is warmed up good. I usually...

Sorry, didn't get to it today, hopefully tomorrow. Ended up mowing.
