RTV Daily uses, What did you do today with your RTV?

I really can't say as it's been on the blade since 2014 when it was installed on my 04 900. I leave it on because it has not been an issue with plowing over 10" of Michigan snow and, secondly, I plow my neighbors drive which is over 900 ft paved with a bit of "enthusiasm" and I don't want the...

    Bed Liner Advice

I'm not sure about Kubota, but I believe, that all domestic truck manufactures have their OEM bedliners done by third parties. Personally, I can't see any reason a third party installation properly done would be a cause for concern.

Luckily we don't have any weather that doesn't go with Bourbon in Michigan! (y)

First Snow & First Time With Plow

You made a great choice with the folding blade. In the "vee" position it will cut through the snow and then let you use the flat position to push it aside taking the swath size you can handle. The toughest part of plowing is getting the first pass moved. Wish I had a folding one but the flat...

    Newbie Considering X1140, Feedback Welcome

If you are going to use it in the winter (or even summer) get the wiper. I plow snow up here in Michigan and during the event the snow will stick to my windshield. Considering the cost of these things the wiper is a modest cost edition. Secondly, for a 5 mile run the difference between 25 and...

    X900 Rear View Depth Perception

So that's what caused that issue with mine. I'll do you a favor and leave you out of the will. You won't be stuck with my unpaid bills then. ;)

    X900 Rear View Depth Perception

This is how I did my 04 RTV900 with a cheap camera from Amazon. Still working after 5 years. Makes life a lot easier for this old guy. We had discussions about drilling the roll cage but clamps would work also.

    V4210 complete cabs only $1200

Just curious, how did you prep the panels and how did you apply the coating? They look really good, BTW.

    Wheel Studs

Most stores, like TSC, usually have a board to check the size and pitch of both metric and SAE bolts using your bolt. Big box stores usually have them also. If not, you can check the metric/sae nuts drawers to see if they have any that fit and buy the same size bolts.

    oil indicator light

Generally the first thing I do in this situation is replace the sender with a mechanical gauge to be sure there is pressure. Usually an NPT fitting will work but if the Kubota sensor is metric threaded, I've had some luck with removing the sensor, gutting the internals and threading the inside...

    Wheel Studs

Just thinking out loud, but if the hubs are threaded you'll need to drill out the threads to install the studs. Not terribly difficult but what I have is a couple bolts with the heads cutoff that I thread into the hub, slide on the wheel, put in 2 bolts, remove the studs and put in the rest of...

    Battery Emergency cut-off installed

It's the safest way but I put mine on the positive terminal. Disconnecting the negative terminal does nothing if the positive side anywhere has grounded causing the short. I also don't mount mine on the battery, to close to the source of the problem if it's the battery. If you need a constant...

How do you make a cat a barn cat?

I suspect that some are just born with the instinct. My daughter got a cat from a local farmer when she was young and it settled into the house. It was a neutered female that kept her claws as she would only sharpen them on my basement shop door post and never touched the furniture. As she aged...

'12 RTV 1100 fuel tank issues.

Good on you for helping your neighbor. New is expensive but you can find a good used one for 1/3 of the new price. I did that 7 years ago and have been plowing up to 1500 feet of drives including a couple neighbors and other chores like hauling wood and other yard needs.

Happy birthday, you've got me by a year. As my doc says, you've come to the point that age is just a number, condition is much more important.

    Going to purchase a X1100C

As Doc described my 04 900 does that sometimes until I lift the blade. So I just automatically start to raise the blade before I shift.
