I would wager you have a bad battery. You should load test the battery. You might try putting your volt meter from positive bat terminal to a frame ground and then turn the key to start and see of the 12 volts goes away instantly. Check the ground cable to frame connections.

You must have a charge relief valve. The brass plate is severely worn and would probably be a real deterrent to pressure. The plate with deep marks needs replaced. The rotating valves look ok. The swash and it's tilt bearings look ok.

There is a company in the usa that manufactures a more reliable set of contacts for your kubota denso abd dodge starters. All you have to do is replace the worn contactors in the solenoid. It's easy cheap and better than oem. Anyone can do this with just normal hand tools

The oil in the cavity under the bed is just the gear case. The hydro oil is the tank under the seat. Low hour but years old oil in the hydro is a bad idea. Always change the hydro oil and filters at least once per year. Your symptoms fit perfectly with low oil in the tank or foaming oil or both
