    2010 RTV900 Transmission Issue

No clutch in the rtv. White smoke could be a head gasket. Did it overheat? The brakes are famous for locking up also but that wouldn't cause white smoke.

2008 RTV. 500 Starter spins but does not engage motor

Not sure what engine that model has. Is it air cooled? If the starter is an automotive type then it will have a solenoid. Since the starter spins and if it is an automotive type then the solenoid is at full travel. If it is an air cooled engine then the starter probably has a helix that throws...

2008 RTV. 500 Starter spins but does not engage motor

If your stsrter spins but the engine doesn't it is because the bendix isn't engaging the flywheel. If your starter is like an automotive then your solenoid isn't working as it should or the starter is loose or broken free from the engine. If your starter is of the kholer type the helix needs lube.

    rtv 1100 engine problem

In some industrial applications these engines run for tens of thousands of hours. However the 1100 series is bad for cracking heads because of the insufficient cooling system. I'll bet your head is cracked and the engine was running on oil. Your lucky it didn't run away!

    RTV idle adjustment

That is different than any i have seen. I would measure the length from the end to the flat of the nut and then unscrew the nut out and off of the stem then slide the sleeve off and reinstall the nut to the measurements pre recorded and install. The tamper sleeve i am familiar with will just...

First confirm that your engine rpm is in spec and that the linkage is adjusted in spec and fluid and filters are oem sudt2 no aftermarket. Before you assume the hst is at fault. Then confirm charge pressure is at spec and if it isn't adjust it or repair the charge pump and re test. And from...

    Kubota RTV900 slow speed

If you wish to stay within oem spec you are correct. The same engine in other applications will run 3600 at full load and 3800 no load. It is a decision that each has to make for themselves. Just putting the info out. I don't know but i suspect the derated rpm spec is for emissions. The hst...

    Kubota RTV900 slow speed

You need specialized equipment flow meters etc. Then you need the specifications to compare to also. The most economical solution would be to change the filters to oem and put sudt2 oil in the transmission. You should confirm that your engine is running 3600 to 3800 rpm also. Things you...
