I received my switch today and finished installing the dome light door switch improvement. It works well! Now all I need to do is to rationalize the purchase of the nifty modification module that Dave installed!

Sounds like a good approach. I think I would try to blow warm air through it for 24 hours or so. Remove filters, drain plugs and filler port and let the warm air try to evaporate residual water before refilling with Super UDT2. Good luck.

Wow - sorry to hear - that was going to be my go-to method if what I am doing now doesn't work. The X1100C cabs are really tight so it amazes me that the wire would affect it this way.

I had this problem with my 2014 X900. I just drilled out the shaft and put a small stainless bolt through with an elastic stop nut. Never gave me a problem after.

The only places I know where hydraulic fluid can be added are at the transmission and the hydraulic fluid tank under the passenger seat. Not sure what you mean by the "three" places.
