    First mow of the season

What a bunch of sissy weather wimps ...... Grass cutting ???? I'd have to remove about 2 feet of snow that fell last December to get to the grass. The snowblower is still on the tractor and the RTV still has the snow blade hanging off its front end. The ZTR mower is still parked under the...

    BX 2230 hose heater

Did it just quit working??....and did you use it frequently?? The block heater that I installed in my Kubota RTV quit also, but I haven't replaced it. You used a slide hammer to get the old one out? I was curious how to remove.

    RTV1100 floor replacement

Very nice fab work.....Curious as to the conditions your RTV encounters to cause this much corrosion ?????

    Weak in reverse

We do a lot of snow plowing with our 04 RTV900. It is reluctant at times to back up after pushing into a pile of snow and needs help by angling the plow back and forth. Reverse gear as indicated previously is a little steep at least on these early models. A hand throttle lessens the frequency...

2006 RTV900 dump bed not working

Sure hope it's the linkage to the pump...I don't like the fact that a hole got melted due to a log splitter being attached. Losing all the fluid hopefully didn't trash the pump. Good luck!

2006 RTV900 dump bed not working

Engaging the hydraulic dump lever either up or down while the engine is idling will have a noticeable effect on the engine and is easily noticed. My vote goes with the linkage from the lever to the back ...assuming the reservoir tank fluid level is correct and the pump is functional.

    2016 RTV X1100C or Honda Pioneer 1000?

Either you are not keeping the pedal depressed long enough or the linkage from the brake pedal to the transmission is out of adjustment. The 1100 I test drove at my dealer worked as advertised. I deliberately drove up a steep loading ramp and stopped part way up. My old 900 would have been...

    2016 RTV X1100C or Honda Pioneer 1000?

I sure like that fwd/rev pedal on the polaris/bobcat...Why can't kubota offer it on the RTV? My 04 900 shifts as slick as warm butter now that it is well worn in but still is plagued by not having the brake pedal pressure relief that more recent models have. When snow plowing where frequent...

    Kubota X1100C with PTO K-Connect

ETWMAN,,,,I notice that the controls for the blower/plow etc are on the left of the steering wheel. Curious if you might think it would be more convenient on the right???

Here's a "Talk About Anything" thread

Think I should have made my shop a little (a lot) bigger. The RTV has been hauling firewood and the tractor has been chipping up the small stuff. Won't be long until the RTV and tractor get reconfigured for snow clearing duty. Gotta get that shop organized and the summer stuff stored elsewhere...
