    Kubota RTV 900 help needed

Idea from way out in left field....seeing as you are not the primary driver.....could this be as simple as the old having to back off on the throttle when pulling uphill that trades ground speed for torque.

    Lurker to poster ratio???

Thanks for the post...I got similar PMs because I apparently didn't conform to someones expectations..Unfortunately, I know of a couple of others that just didn't bother coming back. Considered it briefly myself but soon missed the highly informative info and pleasant banter. Great place to...

    Hydraulic hook-up

The standard tilt outlet will work fine for what you will be doing.....JUST DO NOT leave the lever engaged. There is insufficient cooling available for that hydraulic circuit for continuous use.

    RTV 900 tires and speed

I would love to see the looks on their faces if you rolled that thing into a Kubota dealer for an oil change......Quite the sleeper......Love it !

    plates by PTO

Are they attached to the lift arms, or do they pivot independently? Just a wild guess but possibly used to direct the lift /lower motion of the arm forward to raise / lower a front or mid mounted emplement.

    2016 RTV X1100C or Honda Pioneer 1000?

Two years (or was it 3 ?) ago we got 157 inches. Last year I traded my B1700 and F3060 equipped with heated cabs in on a B2650 with cab. Still cost me a chunk of change but I sure am comfy in my bubble cabbed tractor while out clearing driveways (16 last yr). The 2004 RTV900 with its Blizzard...

    Hand Throttle Advantage

No...only allows independent control of engine RPM.

    Eagle snow plow

Depends on how much snow you expect to encounter. Judging from the picture I'd expect it to last about 15 minutes in the conditions I encounter...If you see infrequent snow fall in moderate amounts, it might make do but don't expect it to hold up to serious winter conditions....Just my opinion...

    Hand Throttle Advantage

The best description of the hydro/accelerator pedal function that I have read...and the benefit that the hand throttle brings.. I use my hand throttle all the time when skidding logs or snow plowing.

    UTD2 super & UDT ?

I just read the label on the back of the Premium UDT jug...Says it is formulated for superior cold weather performance and meets the requirements of John Deere J20D.

    UTD2 super & UDT ?

My understanding is that UDT2 is what the Kubota dealers here in Canada sell as 'Premium UDT'......Synthetic..It is recommended for use in machines subject to very cold operating conditions. Works fine in milder temperatures but is more costly. I don't think the regular UDT is available in these...

New tool to maintain the RTV

CPSSEALS....Yup! ..Cars with no tops and Kubotas with cabs.

Another newbie with questions. Any advice much appreciated!

Just my 2 cents.....If you are at an elevation (7000+), I would expect that a turbo would be a big positive. And if you anticipate a lot of snow plowing to be in your future...get one with an enclosed cab and heater. Difficult to operate the blade hydraulics with big fat mitts on....My 04 900...

Water in the transmission and hydrolics

You don't state the model number but...if it were my B2650, I would drain and refill with cheap hydro fluid, run for about 10-15 minutes and then drain and refill with Kubota UDT2 transmission oil. The cheap oil for a short time to sop up any remaining water. How'd the water get in?

    Mahindra 3505-DI hydraulic fluid

15w-40 in the transmission doesn't sound right....unless it's a gear box maybe. I've owned a few lawn tractors/mowers that use 10w-30 in their hydro transmissions but never heard of a real tractor (sub compact, compact or full sized) using anything but hydraulic oil in their hydros. Buy a quart...

New tool to maintain the RTV

I know.....it's a Ford sitting on the lift but those are Kubota caps sitting on the trunk lid.. This is the larger of the units BYB sold at that time. I didn't need the lift capacity, it was the rise height I needed to get my pickup under it with the 'stang up in the air. They claim you can roll...

New tool to maintain the RTV

ART454....What brand name do you have.. I have a "BackYardBuddy" built in Cleveland. My BYB also has the features you have. Had it about 10 years or more and no problems at all..Mind it only travels up/down about a dozen time a year and once the Mustang is parked on it in November it stays up...

No cotton balls this far north...only snow balls....I know nothing about harvesting cotton so I need to ask ..... is the top of the cotton trailer enclosed with screening to keep the cotton from blowing out?
