    Winch Recommendations

I tried to find a winch that would pull twice the weight of my 1120D. I chose a Warn 4000xl with a portable cradle. The cradle and associated cabling allows you to use the winch in the front and rear receivers. Very happy with combination.

    Starting issues got me stumped!

If anyone has a picture of where this plug is, kindly post it. I checked my 2016 X1120 and I can't locate it and am now concerned that its a bit of maintenance I've never done. Thanks.

    New RTV Break-In

The people here have taught me: 1) Do your service work on time 2) Use Kubota fluids and filters 3) Fluid film will prevent rust on the things that will always rust 4) Always use tires that are load-rated to carry the weight of the RTV, the pasengers, the rated payload and then some. 5. Spend...

    Weird Exhaust Smell

Glad to hear it. Was beginning to think someone sneaked in some biodiesel on ya. You could have been burning someone's breakfast bacon and eggs in there.

UTV Hitchworks Receiver Extension/Skid Plate and Transmission Plate

I installed both the slide plate/hitch extender and the transmission plate. I have pulled 8 ft oak and ash logs all day in the summer heat and some uphill. Also tow frequently. Never had any indication of an overheat. The engine oil (not HST) has never been above the center notch. I understand...

RTV X1120 Exhaust bracket broke again

Wayne, to gain access to this area for inspection, did you have to remove a couple of plates labeled "HOT?" I can't get to the rear muffler bracket on my 2016 1120 without lifting the bed and those two plates. Thanks

    Locking Fron Differential

I checked with Torq Masters about them possibly having a locking differential for the RTV X1120. Here is their response. "Thanks for your email. Our style of locker is mechanical (not electrical) and it works automatically like an automotive locker. We do not currently have a locker for the...

    Zero RTV Dealer Stock?

We saw those lights a few years ago. But I understand Gallipolis has gone full-on dedicated with music and its a whole event. Sounds like we're due to go back. Thank you. Our place is close to Harrisonville, off SR 143. You are in Reedsville or Racine?

    Zero RTV Dealer Stock?

I drove past Allpower in Athens, Ohio this afternoon on the way to the farm and noticed there isn't a single RTV on the lot. On the way back, I stopped and peeked into the front window. Not a single unit in sight. Not even a Sidekick. There was a used buggy of some kind in the fenced area but I...

    Bed Liner Advice

On my Silverado 2500 for LineX was $449 US in 2018. I imagine the price has gone up a little but the process was as BotaFett described.

    Bed Liner Advice

I believe the factory bed liner is LineX . I have had this in my truck and Rhino liner in a previous vehicle. Over time, the Rhino chalked a black substance that would get on your hands and bed contents. In my humble opinion, LineX is the best spray in liner available. The U.S. military uses...

    RTV-X1120 Rollover

I saw these today on TractorByNet. Two very disturbing images. The poster did not explain how it happened but I do not believe there were injuries. The driver was thrown free. I hope they were OK. If you look closely, you will notice the tires are those run flat kind. I can't imagine them...

    Newbie Considering X1140, Feedback Welcome

TechJunkie, when I got the gray steel rims, I wanted to do a quick comparison before mounting all four. I had the same concerns you did. And the Kubota aluminum rims are pretty nice rims to be caked in red clay mud all the time. I am much more satisfied with the look and don't worry how muddy...

    Newbie Considering X1140, Feedback Welcome

We chose the X1120 in Orange for safety as well. That is why I'm always lusting after camo, because I would have liked it better. But we travel between fields on township roads and anything you can do to help visibility is a plus. some drivers treat the townships roads like its Daytona. I am sad...

    Newbie Considering X1140, Feedback Welcome

One other major difference between the RTV's and other UTVs is the go pedal. Unlike a gas/brake set up like our cars and trucks, the Kubota uses something I've heard just called a go pedal. Mash it and it goes, let it go and the RTV stops. In low gear this can be abrupt until you get the hang of...
