    tree stuck under dock

Just git that big boat out there, tie the tow rope to the log and yank 'er out! That should get a little lift on the log also. On second thought...don't yank it. Let your boat idle in gear - increase the speed slightly if needed. between the force of the boat pulling and lifting, and water...

    Rock Picking

I tried that - unfortunately the ground has been worked up once making it soft, and the tri-cycle front end likes to wander...to the point the front wheels once turned completely around! I know now that when that happens I need a 2X4 8 ft long to wedge between the wheels and turn them back...

    Grading a road, mid blade???

Right...so it would average out. 3" high - level with grade - 3" low - level with grade - 3" high - level... Gee. I wonder why that sounds just like my driveway. Maybe there's a correlation?

Doc, Not trying to hijack your thread...just wondering - Are the walleye running in front of your house yet?

    Grading a road, mid blade???

Dave, When you have a blade sticking out behind the rear wheels the effect you just described is exagerated (sp?) compared to what it would be if the blade is in the center of the wheelbase. Example Rear Tire dia.: 24" Front Tire dia.: 14" 60" wheelbase (front to rear...or rear to front if you...
