Found minor defect on 2016 X900

How many do you know of coming loose or can not be tightened securely? I like the kubota but some things make me wonder if they are still mad from losing WW2, such as their sorry example of transmission. Before anyone gets upset about this comment, I would remind them that the M46 taken (Korean...

Found minor defect on 2016 X900

Spent quite a bit of time on dust logging roads in BC this year, hauled the kubota home a few days ago, used the air hose to blow off a summers worth of dust, when I raised the bed, I noticed the transmission dipstick had dust stuck to it "oil" the plastic dipstick was loose, matter of fact it...

    DK55 PTO Won't Engage

Mice and wood rats for some reason hate the smell of bounce fabric softeners. I keep plastic bags stuffed with bounce sheets, even old socks work , just about anyplace I don't want wires chewed ☺

RTV900 Does not move in M or H when trying to go up a slope

If you live near a dealer ask around if they have a good wrench turner. Kubota has changed the pressure settings for the transmission more than once. With a little luck you might find the previous owner didn't like to pay the price for Kubota oil and filters or he might have been one that liked...

TC24D battery light on - guessing alternator

any good electric shop can repair your old one, that way you will have a standby. a new rotor and brushes is most all that's needed.

    Solenoid Location for Winch

As close to the winch as possible, someplace where it won't be getting wet. I like to spray all the connections with a battery post spray, and if you remember to loosen and re-tighten all of them once a year just maybe you can stop the corrosion. I've always had a hard time keeping the hot wire...

Here's a "Talk About Anything" thread

Found this video on the flip flop winch, the fellow like a lot of us old farts (windy) but the device does work, I can see it saving someone a long walk home, in my part of the world I would be looking for trees instead of burying stakes ☺ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFDGGht3CQU

    Turbo for X900?

What you ask would take a big book trying to explain, instead talk with any experienced diesel wrench turner, farmer or truck driver that does their own repairs. They will try and explain to you that if the fuel is to lean and your exhaust temp goes through the roof you will burn a hole in one...

    X1100C Air Cleaner question

Not no engineer but me thinks this was kubotas answer to air filters getting plugged with dirt and gravel. As soon as the snow is gone I'm going to make a cheesecloth bag and see what comes out besides air ☺☺

    hydrostat operation explained

Me thinks Kubota made a huge mistake when they tied the throttle control to the transmission. A two speed is all that's needed put it low or high. Instead someone decided they would make it like driving a car with a 3 or 4 speed auto transmission. "complicated and doesn't work that great was...
