Found minor defect on 2016 X900

Don't get to worked up, $60,000 pickup trucks have the same thing.

    RTV's for Sale

Interesting listing in Cincinnati with a New Jersey phone #. Just a heads up to not send any cash without eyes on the 900. Super good deal if real, though.

    radio loosing memory

As you suspect, the key shouldn't mean much as to keep their memory, most radios have a direct connection that is always hot. It's either directly to the battery or from behind the dash. Your diagnosis of a loose or corroded connection is appropriate. A vom meter will help you find it but you...

    Stick Stopper

I know forum member peanut has built some in the past but as an alternative, if the OEM ones are available, couldn't you buy another set and swap them side to side so the wide end is in-line with the u-joint.

    HITCH CAMERA'S FRONT & REAR?

Here's the one I added to the rear of my 900. http://www.nettractortalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16136 I don't have a picture with the receiver installed but you can see entire ball and end of the mount on the screen.

    RTV900x ROPS Removal

Excellent idea. If letting the air out doesn't get it low enough, a set of small rims with no tires might work.

    RTV900x ROPS Removal

My older one has a lot of welding holding it together. Personally, trailers are cheap, either trade for one it fits or raise the roof on the one you have. Much easier than removing the ROPS.

    RTV-X1120 Side Bolster

If it works good deal, I'm 75 yo 6'3" and 225# and it would be just a PITA to keep avoiding as I enter and leave the machine. As an alternative, I'd probably cut off the mount about one inch or so above the tubing and cut an arm rest out of 2" pine and bolt it on the stub mount.

    gopher gitter

We don't have gophers around here but a few moles sneak in occasionally. I've found these seem to work reasonably well. Because they release a sulfur gas it stays in the borrow for a while so they may just vacate due to the residual odor...

    RTV 1100 2” Receiver Mod

A 2" stub receiver is available at TSC and most trailer sellers. Personally, I'd just buy a couple and replace the smaller ones on the RTV. I only use the smaller on on my 2004 as I only push or tow stuff. That said, I've come close a couple of time to going to 2" as I have a wide selection of...

    found trv

Agree! If you have a welder, cut the crease at the bottom of the dent and pull the sections out, smack 'em with a hammer to get them back in shape and reweld the cut.

    Crap Sums it Up

Your plan makes sense. You will need a new head in any case so as long as you don't overheat it and warp it you should be able to use it on a new block. I'd suggest new bearings and rings when you transfer the crank and pistons to a new block. A bit more cost but overheating as your engine...

    Crap Sums it Up

Google Kubota rtv-900 engine. You'll find rebuilts in the $3K range. I'm always leary about used engines from an unknown source but you never know what you'll find. Sorry about the problem.

RTV X1120 Electric Radiator Fan will not stop running

Most systems work by the switch providing a ground to complete the low amperage circuit to energize the relay as the engine reaches temperature. With the battery reconnected, if the fan still runs, disconnect the wire from the switch on the engine. If it stops, bad switch. If it keeps running...

Considering the low speed and that it can't be licensed I'd pickup a used Jeep for $15-20K and have the best of all worlds.

Fatigue break on X900 front bumper

It does look good. I can see from the mount why that area stress cracks. There's a lot more leverage on that area than my Curtis/Kubota mount. Personally, I would have welded a piece of angle/strap/channel from the bottom horizontal bar to the upper horizontal tubing to transfer the load...
