new guy just purchased a rtv x1100c

Showing support has always been appreciated but I've never let that interfere with the job at hand. If there was a collision, serious incident or a complaint involved I'm sure duty would not be effected. However if I was only performing routine checks I was always able to exercise discression in...

new guy just purchased a rtv x1100c

Hi-visibility is the goal and they can be used to that effect for slow moving vehicles but if an accident is caused because someone couldn't determine your intentions regarding a turn or by not turning at an intersection then you will be found at fault and then you'd wish you had insurance and...

new guy just purchased a rtv x1100c

I went all the way by adding an amber flasher to the roof, triangle and only use the 4 ways when I'm nowhere close to an intersection or turn. I deactivate them so people can see my signals when there might be a question as to my intentions. Hazard lights are meant for parked vehicles, not...

    Relief Knob

My wife told me that the only knob in the 2010 RTV 1100 is the one holding the steering wheel. The stinker!

    How much weight ?

Hey XTROOPER, as a northern Canadian I could probably be sworn in as an expert witness in at field of clearing snow. And I never place any ballast in the back of my 1100. Never had a need for it with the 4WD. I've got the Kubota commercial duty plow, very similar to the one you have. Looking...

Has anyone seen this bad boy?

Your welcome BaiJiu, We have a 1/4 section with about 90 acres of forest. We feed the wild critters all winter but this year hay just isn't enough so I'm looking to build some feeders for oats. They need the energy. Tomahawk is a little over an hour west of Edmonton.

I agree, but would be fun to see all the same. Guess it doesn't matter what side of the border your on, the laws are set up to protect the guilty and the victims be damned.

Has anyone seen this bad boy?

Here's a couple of those Alberta Moose you speak of. It's been a very hard winter for the wildlife this year so its real easy to walk right up to them when they build up the courage to feed. Hunger trumps fear I guess.

    1100 with v blade. What's it worth?

I'd be asking $18,500 USD at least. If only you were in Alberta! For what your asking I'd buy a spare!!! A boy can dream can't he?

    1100 with v blade. What's it worth?

I bought my 1100, a 2010, with 200 hours on it and a Kubota straight blade for $18,000 Canadian and I'm very happy with the value I got. Hope that helps you narrow the value down a bit. Al

Super K is puking oil! Help!

Update... Drove 3 hours round trip to pick up the seal. Had to drain and remove the hydraulic tank, use an impact wrench and a special pulley tool borrowed from a friend. Used another borrowed tool to remove the pulley. Then the fun, the seal is covered by a dust cover that had some sand...

Super K is puking oil! Help!

The culprit is the crank seal. Started to take her apart yesterday just to be thwarted by the pulley bolt. I can get a 24 mm socket/breaker bar on it but there's no way I can keep the pulley from turning. I tried to use a strap wrench on the pulley. No room for an impact wrench between the...
