RTV 900 seems to be dragging

The cold is only a hypothesis as I haven't owned the 1100 in the summer time yet. I'm hoping that it will turn into a wheel spinning speed demon in July!! Hey, a boy can dream can't he?!

RTV 900 seems to be dragging

Bingo Doc! Up here I'd like to think we're experts on cold. when it's -30 it takes forever to warm up to the point that speed is reasonable, never fast mind you. I let the motor run for 10 to 15 minutes then drive it slowly for 5 minutes or so before I even start to plow. Then I can plow...

    ARRESTORS & NEW MEMBERS

After looking at the great hi rise intakes listed here I looked at my own 1100. Unfortunately any home remedy would have compromised fuel access so I bit the bullet and bought a kit that was sitting on the shelf at Edmonton Kubota for a few years. They dropped the price to $245 from $268. I...

Would make a great key chain for the 1100! Probably a higher top end than my 1100, :( Cute...

I've got the Kubota Commercial Straight Blade (#V4290) and I love it. Can't imagine anything doing a better job.

    bending the door on 1100

Looks like the plastic is buckled inside the circle... Might be an easy fix, but I'd still rather the dealer do it than myself.

    RTVs earning their keep.

Nice having a headed enclosed cab for those times. I don't have the auto level but I'm getting rather good at preventing spills like that... Now!

    bending the door on 1100

WARRANTY! It's why we paid the big bucks... Sounds like it might have taken a mighty hit in transit. Could be the cab that's damaged. Document it with pictures and take it back so they can make it right. Unless you rolled it, then take it to a body shop. Very expensive to replace but a good...

    RTVs earning their keep.

The high volume bucket sure makes cleaning the barn and shed easier. Lifts a ton of snow and lately I've been using it to place bundles of shingles on the garage roof. Probably the least expensive thing I bought for the JD, but very well used, specially in the winter.

    RTV extra hydraulic hookup uses

:agree: I was thinking about hooking up a power source so I could recharge my 18 volt dewalt batteries in the field or use an extension cord for other tools. Rather do that than buy hydraulic tools.

    RTV extra hydraulic hookup uses

My 1100 uses the dump lever for the snowplow. I use a button mounted on the lever to switch the hydraulics from up and down to left and right. This was set up by the local kubota dealer. It saved a couple grand from using the kubota, dash mounted controls and hydraulics. The only unfortunate...

    Then and now...

I didn't have much of a choice. My career dictated a regulation haircut and it kinda "grew on me". Now that I'm retired and returned to the ranch I can grow back the locks. Ya right!
