You can easily overload the 15 amp breaker that runs the front and rear roof lights. I bet that super bright light harness is bigger than 15amp.

If glow plugs stay on during starter run then 50amps is too low for a locked rotor condition, so you may not find any water in there. Maybe a open circuit when cold then attempted starts warms it up, closes the gap.
