12 to 13 grand without any cab. Belt drive. 24 mph. I think I'll keep my 1100c.

    Car tires on 1100c

Groundsmechanic, you certainly have a grasp of the issue. It proves there is no simple answer. I'm currently in a village in the middle of Alaska, which makes it rather hard to find rims that fit. If you find an answer would you kindly let me know. Thanks.

    Car tires on 1100c

I get about 1 hour per gallon, maybe less. I run the thing wide open so I don't get run over by other vehicles. Very seldom see 24 mph. Running the tires overinflated helps, which makes me think different tires will help. These things are horribly underpowered, which we can thank the "greenies" for.

    Car tires on 1100c

Some good ideas here. My problem is two-fold. Lousy mileage and horrible on ice. Our streets are a sheet of ice and will be that way all winter. The standard tires on the Kubota are not only crap on ice, they have a rolling resistance on hard surfaces. I want to run something like a narrow...

    Car tires on 1100c

Haven't pulled the wheel to get exact measurements. It's a 4-hole rim, unlike the older models that were 5 hole. The Alaska Railroad had car rims mounted on those models. I was hoping someone here has found 4-hole rims that would work. Narrow siped car tires work well on ice and running on...

    Car tires on 1100c

Any ideas for a rim conversion to enable using car tires on my buggy? I have the newer style 4-hole rims. I use my machine for transportation on streets in a village and would like to use a siped car tire. Better traction on ice and should roll easier.

Where to wire in a radio

I see you don't have a 1100 C. Pay no attention my post. Wrong machine.

Where to wire in a radio

I installed a radio in mine last summer. Don't remember the wire colors. Most newer radios need a constant hot feed and a switched one. Both are available in the harness. I believe Kubota has plug and play adaptors, but I wired in my radio with the plug supplied by the radio manufacture. The...

Cooling fan running after I shut it down

I let mine cool down before shutting it off. It probably isn't as important on such a small engine as large diesels I normally operate. It can't be a bad thing to allow temps to equalize in the engine before shutting it down, especially engines with oil coolers and piston coolers. The water pump...

    Kubota X1100C with PTO K-Connect

Thank you for the info. I'm getting the LED upgrade for the plow lights and also will be running two cab mounted working lights, two cab mounted rear lights and a strobe. All LED. The plow lights have some type of lens heater so they don't frost over. Any idea what the alt amps are on these...

    Kubota X1100C with PTO K-Connect

Are you using the 12v motor on your Boss, or are you using the hydraulics from the machine? Ready to buy a new 6'6" Boss V. Not sure if the alt will run the plow and a shitload of working lights I'm putting on it.

    Speaker wires

My 2015 1100 has 4 pink wires for the speakers. Three have dot's on them, black-red-white. One is without any dot's. Anybody have a clue which is left/right-positive/negative? Thanks, John

    Installing radio in a 1100

I'm installing a radio in my 1100 and I'm a bit spun out on the wiring. I found a nine pin block with 7 wires. 4 pink-1 black-1 white/green tracer-1 red/white tracer. I assume the black is ground, the red/white tracer is switched power. The white/green tracer could be constant power. The pink...
