Lathe, New addition to home shop!

The lathe has 12'' swing and a 36'' bed. My father bought it new in the early 80's and we formed a company in the mid 80's and boughtit from him then. My two sons are both good machinists and they will probably use it more than I will to make mountain bike parts.

Lathe, New addition to home shop!

I decided to take this lathe home from my machine shop, it was hardly ever used anymore and it could be handy to have at home.

    Homemade articulating blade

I went out and tried the blade in the little snow we had and ended up using the 1940's rear blower more than the blade. It worked quite well but will be underpowered in the bigger dumps of snow, I'm thinking low gear will take care of that however.

    Who Restores their Tractors ?

This tractor got rebuilt and also recieved a homemade FEL back in 2002. Ihad it all pulled apart and spread all over the shop for weeks while I fixed up the broken pieces, then I prepped and painted untill everything turned orange including me. The front end loader has a quick attach system to...

Help I broke my tractor in half!!!

As someone that has been in business for 23 years I would suggest that the best approach would be for the company to do the honorable thing and send you the parts to fix the tractor, they should also send out a factory tech to do the work. It would also be worth its weight in gold in terms of PR...

    Homemade articulating blade

I don;t have a FEL for this tractor so I had to built my own valve attachment to control the blade. The blade was built by myself from scratch, i had to build a cup holder for it as well.

    Homemade articulating blade

Thanks Gentlemen, My boys have both tried it in the snow and they enjoyed using it. I have also tried the blade in the dirt a few weeks ago and was able to do some decent work with it, the tractor is a little llight however and could use fluid in the tires.

    New Guy Here

The Kioti people I've talked with seem like great people to deal with, sort of old school values with integrity. My brother and I have a business we started back in 1985 and it's doing well but we feel like its time to diversify into other areas. After seeing the Kioti line of tractors I felt...

I built this blade in order to keep the snow cleared in the winter, and also some landscaping in the summer.

    New Guy Here

Thank for the wecome guys. I havent signed on the dotted line for one, I have B7510 at home and can not justify bringing another one home. I am considering starting a dealership to carry the Kioti line becouse we only have two dealers in BC at the moment.

    KIOTI vs KUBOTA

I own a B7510 kubota with 17 hours on it, after seeing and driving a CK20 Kioti I have to agree that my vote also goes to Kioti.

    New Guy Here

I traveled 4 hours this last Thursday to go see the nearest Kioti Dealer, I found them and was impressed with the look and feel of both the CK20 and CK30. The CK20 had a backhoe/loader attached and seemed like a very capable machine. The backhoe was built with great re-inforced brackets and...
