    Trailer Load Capacity ?

Guess we did forget that part! Not being able to stop and/or sliding through intersections isn't safe! Neither is having your trailer push your truck sideways around a corner! Trucks also have ratings for max trailer loadings.

    Trailer Load Capacity ?

Probably won't hurt, but this is coming from someone who bent the frame on a 3 axle 18000# trailer ( the old lady's dozer is about 28000#). If the tires are rated for it, you don't overload the tongue and keep it on level ground it should be ok. Turning on uneven ground is what got me, not bad...

    Generators OK for TV's (televisions)?

I've got an old Onan welder gen. Last time I hooked it up, it sounded like the fridge was going to take off! It's got three throttle settings, idle, power and weld. It was on the power setting, but when I checked the voltage it read about 200v, and the Hz ( frequency ) was about 80! I dropped it...

    Hydraulic pressure BX-2230

The first thing you should do is buy a 5,000# pressure gauge. You can attach a quik coupler to it and plug it into one of the remote lines and see what your pressure actually is. Often the factory pressure isn't set too accurately and may be high or low 500lbs or so. Replumb the gauge, and you...

    Ballast for snow plowing

Nice work! Just a personal observation, but I think you Canadians have way too much time on your hands in the winter to think things through and then some wonderful fabrication! How much insulation in those walls and ceiling?:confused2:

    Starter will not Disengage

Sometimes the solenoid plunger can wear, with a noticeable taper or ring worn around it, or it may be rough due to sand or shot blasting. The solenoid may have a matching groove in it. Stick your finger down the bore and around, it should be straight all the way to the bottom. Both surfaces...

What is your largest load on the RTV yet?

Might have been a bit dramatic there!:wall: Can't really tow a trailer with a load like that with a Gator. It would probably get sort've light on the front end sometimes. I hooked a strap to the Dodge and towed both of them, like a train. The drive belt didn't smoke too much!:shitHitsFan...

What is your largest load on the RTV yet?

You guy's are CRUEL and INHUMAIN!!! Wasn't going to do it, but, got a load and pull I now have to report on our Gator HPX 4x4. About the first week we had it we were about 4mi from home pulling it with an old 3/4 ton Dodge on a 20ft tri axle trailer when the old truck gave out! The truck and...

    Root Ripper Bucket

A trick I've used once in a while is hooking a chain or cable high on the tree for leverage and pulling it down. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
