Also had a similar problem. Replaced all the lines and filters, cleaned the tank really well, checked the pump and same thing. I finally found a little bunch of lint like stuff inside a banjo fitting. You never know! Have fun!!

Every engine is different, so whatever works for yours is the way to go, but the block heater and keeping the batt voltage up are always good things. 1500 on some engines is excessive, but they should run smoothly.

Generally it's a bad tooth in the ring gear, but could the wrong dimentions ( holes drilled a little off, or the wrong nose ) giving it too much gear lash and allowing the drive to climb on the ring gear.

Every once in a while ( every spring ) I crack the drain plugs on the trany's and differentials and drain the water and milky fluid out of the sumps. The water is heavier so it settles with time. The milky stuff (emulsion) doesn't always separate so that goes also. Not all fluids are compatable...

How many hrs on them, are the tires loaded-duals, etc? Gas or diesel (706)? Pictures? Dave
