Welcome to the forum Winston. What we need here are more Texans!!!! Now I won't feel so lonely. Now, if you'd only had a Kubota instead of the Yanmar ..... :) :) :)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

When you guys are talking about a nice rack, I'd prefer it if you were discussing a big buck or a buxom young lady. :yum::yum::yum: And .... just to be different, I'd like to wish all you guys and gals a Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year.

Welcome bro. Don't worry about the kids giving you hell about getting stuck. Post some pictures on here and we'll all give you more shit than you can move move with a FEL and a bucket. What do they say, "Misery loves company" and "There are no new mistakes". We've all been stuck at one...

    Well I'm back

Darn it bud, you haven't had to look for your troubles lately, they came to find you, didn't they? Glad it's all over and that you are on the mend. Looking forward to your contributions in the future. You have some catching up to do and never mind those other guys, there won't be a test...

    Cold Weather Starting Tips?

Darn Cali, it's amazing what you learn on a tractor board. I've read of a thousand and one uses for WD-40 but that was never one of them. I must admit that I kinda like the smell of WD-40 but not to get high on. That what they make Scotch for. :yum::yum::yum:

    block heater

I wish that I'd though of the timer idea. When we had the MF at the farm, it was a booger to start if the temp even approached "cool". I always plugged in the block heater the night before and let it run all night if I was wanting an early start in the morning. I will say that it did make a...

Rear Remotes on new L3800 ??

I doubt very much if it comes with any rear remotes as standard equipment. Usually they get installed if you order a grapple or tip-n-tilt or something else that needs auxiliary hydraulics on the tractor when you place the order.

It Ran When I Parked It.......

Well, now that I know what it is, what was it used for? I don't think that I've ever seem anything like it.

    Roming "Pets"...killin' others animals

I have a friend who would agree with you. He had 3 Pyrenese (1 male & 2 Females) to guard his goats. They were so protective of those darned goats that it got where he couldn't drive out in to the pasture to feed them. The male especially wouldn't let him get out of his truck. The females...

How long to start my Kubota?

I'm not familiar with your model but on some older Kubotas the glow plug light doesn't go off. After you turn the key to the "preheat" position, you count about 5 seconds and then turn the key to the starting position and off she goes. It also suggests putting the hand throttle in the half way...

    Grapple Fork

I've got to apologize again. The camera battery is dead, not holding a charge or it may possibly be the camera itself. Either way we may have to wait for Santa to bring a replacement. Maybe he will bring one of those fancy new phones and I can retire my $15 Trac-Fone.:biggrin::biggrin:

    Prayers for my Aunt Jewel

Oh my Lord. I hate to hear that. From personal experience, it can be a trying time. Your aunt will be in my thoughts and prayers.

    Grapple Fork

Darn!!!! That thing is way too shiny. Sorry but I forgot about the pictures. Been real busy with other things lately. I'll see what I can do tomorrow.

    Blocking The Clutch?

My Kubota recommends doing the same thing and guess what? .... I've never done it and never had a problem. Then again, I live in Texas where the winter weather isn't too severe and, like you, I use it during the winter so I never saw any need to do it. I suppose if it sat for several months...

    Happenings on the Farm
