    Here come the tomatoes!

I've got lots of small green tomatoes but it's starting to get cold and I don't think I'm going to get any this year. Our growing season is too short for tomoatoes most of the time.

    Mowing Equipment

You should check out lawnsite.com for researching mowers. Grasshoppers are very good. Dargo, often spoke highly of them. Are you looking on Craigslist? eBay always seems too expensive to me.

    Mowing Equipment

If you're not in a rush then I would surf Craigslist for a while. I often see some great mowers on there. Of course, when I wanted to buy my ZTR there was nothing showing up until the day I bought it (when almost the exact model showed up). You may want to check out www.crazedlist.org (use...

    Fencline AND Treeline cutter!!

Having lived in Orlando for a while, I can see that having the weeds cut down would make it harder for the gators to hide! However, one must never question the ability of the civil servant to waste the taxpayers money - especially when you can get some of your tax follars back from the...

howierd - why are you mowing in those swamp areas? I think I would rather look at some tall weeds than a mud hole?

    Tractor Detailing

I use a leaf blower on it to keep it clean but only hose it off if it is really dirty. Otherwise, it is parked out under some trees. I might build a shop someday. Not sure if the tractor will go in it though. ;)

    My homemade Grapple

I agree with Mith. But you should ask around. Someone with a torch could probably cut those for you pretty easily. A chop saw would work too.

    Briggs vanguard big block

They seem to get good reviews over on lawnsite.com. At least, I don't remember anyone saying anything really bad about them. I think you will need the extra HP. You should look at Kawasaki engines too. I'm not sure how big they go but the 25HP Kawasaki on my ZTR is pretty impressive.
