    I wish Kubota would make

I've always been a bit surprised that Kubota hasn't done this. With their name recognition and reliability I think they could have taken that market away from Bobcat. Not saying there's anything wrong with a Toolcat. I'd have one in a minute if I could find a cheap used one. Somewhere I've...

    hydrostat operation explained

Very easy read. Good stuff. Only variation in our case is we use a gear box to get reverse. Wish it was a simple treadle design like tractors.

    X1100C Air Cleaner question

I only speak for myself here Bob. You are speaking way above my intellectual level. So if you are saying it's understandable that the intake pukes air, I'm happy with it. :) Good research. Thanks for the explanation!!!! :)

    Steep Grades?

Yep, struggle with this when taking 4 wheelin pics.

Yep. If you end up with my brake lever in just the "wrong" position the light will not be on, but the brake will be applying pressure. Hope it's something simple like this!!! :)

Downhill coast of new x1100 rtv

I've not been around the new machines and/or one with tracks. I "assumed" all new RTVs had the typical HVT slide to a stop when the peddle is released. Hopefully someone with a similar machine will chime in. I'm curious to hear the outcome of this.

Float position won't cause fluid heat. The pumped fluid is going back to "tank" same as always. Difference is the valve opens between the "raise" side and the "lower" side to allow movement. No bearing on the normal transfer of fluid throughout the system. Very curious to hear resolution of...

    Mahindra Roxor

Yep. I suspect Mahindra has an underlying motive. I don't see a big enough market for this particular machine. But it would be a decent base to start from.

    Mahindra Roxor

Keep in mind the 62" width quoted is tread width. Center of tire to center of tire. So as already mentioned, might as well buy a Jeep. 15K will buy a very, very nice used Jeep.

New tires 4 x900 Blackwater evolution

Yep, if you didn't need ground clearance or flotatio/traction the smaller size is a good choice.

New tires 4 x900 Blackwater evolution

I have 9" on the front and 11" on the back. Didn't have any trouble mounting them. Second guessing myself, should have bought 11"s for both ends.

RTV900 won't idle, runs above idle and stalls at idle

In my experience, only grinding is if machine is rolling and you try to shift. I think Arthur is on the right track. I am hoping for a simple fix.

    RTV X1140 Hand Throttle??

Update. My friend ended up with kit V5245. The instructions don't mention the 1140 but it works fine.

RTV900 won't idle, runs above idle and stalls at idle

The wire cable is to dissuade the owner from adjusting them. The wired ones control critical functions. For example, the high rpm adjuster can be tampered with to gain more engine speed. I would imagine if you took your RTV in for warranty engine repair and the high rpm adjuster has been...

RTV900 won't idle, runs above idle and stalls at idle

I don't have a good pic of my injector pump. RTV is at the farm. I'll try to take a pic this afternoon. The screws are on the injector pump. They control the stroke of the throttle lever on the pump. The idle screw would probably not be secured with a wire cable or lead seal. It's a...

Fatigue break on X900 front bumper

I was curious about that as well. Looks like the grill guard was pushed rearward and broke?

RTV900 won't idle, runs above idle and stalls at idle

No the injector pump isn't worn out. Explain your statement above??

Fatigue break on X900 front bumper

Bummer. Let us know what the plan/fix is. I'm interested to see what you come up with.

RTV900 won't idle, runs above idle and stalls at idle

Have you visually inspected the injector pump to ensure the idle screw is intact?? Sounds like for whatever reason the injector pump is idling down to such a low rpm it dies?? Have you tried very slowly declining the rpm until it dies to see if you can keep it running at what would be...

Fatigue break on X900 front bumper

Someone, I'm assuming Kubota's engineers, decides how much force a given part will withstand before it fails. Then they design that part with those specifications the cheapest route. In regards to this part, it's accomplished by using a different grade of metal. It's not mild steel. It is...
