The desired type is push button on knob, pull to desired speed, release button it stays at that position, turn knob clockwise/counterclockwise to fine tune. This type would be very hard to design because of the technical workings of the knob.

I don't know who he talked to, but they told him they didn't show a kit for the 1140 and didn't know if the V5243 would fit. I was really surprised. I've always got excellent, knowledgeable service from their parts department. Maybe it was lunch hour.... :)

Kubota told my friend that wouldn't fit the 1140. No explanation as to why. Possibly cable length??? I'm not familiar with the machine so don't know if the engine is farther rearward from the knob location???

After contacting Kubota Customer Satisfaction my friend has been given a kit number of V4497. Trying to order it locally now. I'll report back with the results.

Yeah, I have one on my 900 too. Friend has a 1140 but can't find a kit for that machine. Parts Department says they don't know if the 900 kit will fit.

Anyone have one?? If so did you order a kit and if so do you know the kit number?

Thanks. Yeah the rack was a great addition. Me too on the Summer thing. Our frost is almost gone now. I used the backhoe and dug up a large elm stump this morning. I've got some small seeding projects to do this Spring. May get that done next week if we miss our current rain chances.

I consider my RTV a mini Diesel 4x4 Truck with dump bed. I've hauled many loads that the hydraulics will barely dump. I've hauled a few that I had to lift on the bed while using the hydraulics to get it started.

Good stuff here. This issue gets discussed frequently but always good to add more info. It's very hard to find tires that are rated high enough to meet the capacity of the RTV. I think the importance of that issue is totally relevant to use. In bordercollie's case above she is offering...

Good stuff. Thanks for posting the chart. Huge difference in capacity as the size goes up. Must include more plys?? The height/width shouldn't affect the weight rating at all.
