Many, many owners run tires that aren't rated heavy enough. It's an issue that's overlooked. Very hard to find tires rated heavy enough for the RTV. If the owner doesn't carry heavy loads often they'll get by. If you load your RTV to capacity frequently the tire life will be greatly...
I've bought two new Kubota tractors and have never been contacted by Corporate in regards to how the product is working.
I've been involved in the purchase of seven new JD road graders. Every time JD has contacted me to complete a customer satisfaction questionnaire. Every time I've listed a...
Let me dig around and see if I can find the site I ordered mine from. I paid less than $100 for a set. If I remember correctly I used 1.5" on the front and 1" on the rear.
With 27" tires and 1" lift I regained my stability with the spacers.
Please attach some pics of your machine when you get a chance Doc.
I know nothing about these machines so will appreciate any dialogue you want to add.
I'm mostly interested in durability and workability compared to the RTV.
Thanks!!!
Doc, I'd be very interested in your views comparing your RTV to the Pioneer. When you've used it in varied situations doing similar work to what you've done with your RTVs please start a thread. Thanks!!!
I am in steep timber commonly. First thing I learned about the RTV is that it doesn't like steep terrain. :)
I have no hard data concerning rollover angle. Just use that instinctive internal alarm. I've rolled my offroad buggy many, many times. No concerns at all. But I'm in a good seat...
I agree that tubes will stop the leaks you described. Problem is the upcoming nail that jams into your tire. Now you are forced to take it off, break it down, and patch the tube. If tubeless you are underway within a couple minutes. :)
I hope Kubota can be successful with this addition. It's a totally new venture. This machine isn't an RTV as we all know them. I'm a bit apprehensive about the long term dependability.
I think Kubota should give Bordercollie one to test for a couple years. The true nature of the machine...
The shifting problem is caused by the HVT system. This machine doesn't use that drive system. It's a simple belt drive system. There may be some shifting problems but they won't be associated with the HVT problems.
I agree. This market is already saturated. For potential buyers that have no experience with Kubota I see nothing about this machine to entice them. For Kubota owners this model is geared toward more pleasure, less work. I would also expect much higher maintenance costs with this machine...
Power Service white bottle will help with fuel gel. I treat every gallon I use during winter months. I'm also picky about where I buy my fuel and how I handle it. I keep my tank near full all the time to minimize condensation.
Yep, that was my plan too. But to place it rearward far enough and low enough to let the bed dump with the tailgate open it would severely limit the departure angle. :(
