If you put the shifter into any gear, then try to turn the axle shafts do they turn freely? This would indicate that the gear selector isn't putting the HVT into any gear.

Sounds like the engine is fine. Problem is in the HVT. And only when it's "activated", go pedal pushed. Checking the oil and filters for metal will only indicate an ongoing problem that has created metal shavings. Then those shavings would have to be analyzed by someone that could do such...

The one thing I always look at is Load capacity. For a 10 ply tire these seem to have a low weight capacity. At 765 lbs each they are within a couple hundred pounds of maxed out on an empty RTV. I know there are many owners that exceed their tire's capacity, myself included. I just use...

The backspace of your stock wheels will not be a problem in regards to tire fit. I also don't believe you will need the wheels moved outward to clear your new tires. I've never heard of that tire. Can you post some pics of them?? Hope they work for you!!!!

Assuming 600lbs on each rear tire empty. Leaves 252lbs of net load capacity on each.

Sorry, got it now. Missed that part for some stupid reason. So whatever "broke" finally separated itself enough to stop providing drive and at the same time stopped stalling the engine. Sure sounds like mechanical failure in the HVT somewhere.....

Not sounding good. To kill the engine it has to stop the rotation of the HVT input shaft. What could do that? It would have to be farther in than just shaft bearing failure or it would display this problem as soon as the engine is started regardless of shifter or go pedal position. So it...
