First RTVX1100C and First Post-Lighting Upgrade

Tim The wiring is all there if you use Kubota work lights either front and back. Some where on this forum this has been covered before. The main problem is that some light bars exceed the amperage ratings of the Kubota wiring. I purchased the Kubota light switches and 6 of these lights...

    Completely sick,cylinder head help ,please

Page 79 of the WSM is the engine section. Unless Kubota has specific engine manuals, that is as good as it gets. I have a BX2680 and a RTV X1100 and the engine sections of both WSM's look almost identical to what is in the RTV900 WSM in the link I sent. Here is a WSM specifically for the 05...

New Accelerator cable is too long. Old part number 7591 42110 discontinued, new part number ends in 12

Hopefully Arthuritus will weigh in, but it sounds like you need to go through the process of "timing" your accelerator pedal with your hydro. There is a very precise way to do it and it makes a ton of difference. You could do a search using his name to find it. I printed his procedure and...

    Electrical Updates

Since I currently live in town and my X1100 has to live outside and after my dealer told me the number of x1100's produced in 2014 that are reported as stolen I initially told myself that locking the doors was the best way to secure my RTV from being stolen. Then my whole world was shattered...

    Electrical Updates

I really enjoy this forum. I have learned alot and wanted to give back with some of my mods. I did have to change the wiring when I put this in. If I remember this plug is hot all the time. So I made a jumper and pulled electricity from the ignition switch to power this. I used a volt meter...

    Electrical Updates

The other thing I want to do is to add a light so I can see the gear selector for easier shifting when driving in the dark. Here is the only reasonably priced light that I am considering: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077Z6WQ6Q?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I did find one from an...

    Electrical Updates

I am also going to do the dome light upgrade. However I am considering using a magnetic switch. I am waiting on parts to play with it and will update this if I can figure it out. I am concerned that a bump would cause the switch to momentarily open up.

    Electrical Updates

I have been giving a lot of thought to some electrical updates to my Kubota RTV-X1100. One update I did almost a year ago that I am really pleased with was the removal of the 12v plug and replacing it with this...

    Question concerning tilting the bed

There is a control lever to the left of the driver's seat. Up raises the bed, down lowers it. Don't confuse the parking brake with the hydraulic lever. Number 10 below.

    Question concerning tilting the bed

If the machine isn't running you can hold the hydraulic valve open and lift the bed. There is a safety block originally kept on the machines frame with a small cable that fits over the hydraulic cylinder to keep the bed up.

    Water pump leaking

I think the wink is the main point. As far as my experience goes there is no adjustment on the alignment of the pullies.
