Mine wont pick up sometimes, but it's when I try to short cut the + pattern. I just return it to center and move the lever the way I want it, works fine then. I also raise the engine rpms with the foot pedal depending on what I'm picking up.

Did Massey Ferguson purchase the rights to AC way back there, or are there equipment just that close to being the same?

Thanks for the heads up, we don't use Purina Mills products. They have had too many recalls. Three I think, in the last five years. We always inspect the feed we use while pouring it into a large container with a locking lid so if our horses were to ever get into that part of the barn they...

I like that guard you have, I need something like that with the expanded metal on mine. I just have the vertical flat plates they put on with the front FEL. I'm afraid mine may end up looking like urednecku's. :pat:

This bar that my finger is touching is what I believe is the glow plugs, it has a electrical connection at the back. It runs the length of the motor and has a insulated plug for each cylinder.
