    Here's a "Talk About Anything" - II

I used a ratchet strap around the head of the PHD to the rafters while it was still attached to the tractor. Crank it tight then disconnect the PTO and 3PH. It hangs there perfectly aligned for me to back into it and reconnect the next time. ;) The floor space it uses isn't much more than a...

    Here's a "Talk About Anything" - II

Hey @Doc, have you tried the Scythe herbicide yet? I mixed about 8-9 oz in 3 gallons of water on my backpack sprayer and started hitting the weeds. Came back for a refill to do other areas and looked where I sprayed... the weeds are pretty much dead and that's in less than an hour. I love this...

    lift cylinder seal part numbers?

Not sure which model or year you have but here's a link to the kubota parts diagrams. https://shop.kubotausa.com/oemparts/c/kubota_tractor_utility_vehicle/parts Select your model then go to the hydraulics section then bed lift. Do you have a hydraulics shop around you? They may be able to fix...

    Gf1800e Kubota

It could be one of a few things. This link outlines the possible issues and their resolutions. https://tractorcrew.blogspot.com/p/kubota-pto-problems.html Also, do an internet for "Kubota GF1800 clutch pack". There's several sites/links of people that have had the same problem and what they...

    Here's a "Talk About Anything" - II

I sold my 3PH post hole digger to a friend. Don't recall the price but it was several hundred $. Now I can borrow it anytime I want, I don't have to store it and I have $ in my pocket. :) I'm in the early stages of building a small woodshed/lean-to type building (8x24'). My son caught me...

    Kubota GR2100 seat spring

Are you using OEM hyd filters and SUDT? Kubota HST's can have real problems with aftermarket hyd fluid and filters.

    First mow of the season

I had no idea that TX would require a license considering the amount of land that needs sprayed in your State.

    Kubota GR2100 seat spring

Can't see exactly what's in your pics. I "think" this is the parts diagram for your seat. If you're talking about part #180 on top right side, yes, it only looks like there's one. The rubber stopper blocks appear to be part #170.

    1957 John Deere 420U 5-speed

"No matter what I did (giant breaker bar(s) wouldn’t budge it." Are you familiar with a product called Kroil? https://www.kroil.com/ I can't think of something I've had to deal with that was seized that this product didn't break free. Spray it on, let it creep and come back a day later.

    Loader sensitivity

Have you considered mirrors? The operators area is pretty tight for a swivel seat. You may get 30° of turn but not 90.

    First mow of the season

Thanks. I may need to switch if what I just applied doesn't work out. I used https://www.domyown.com/alligare-amine-herbicide-p-22073.html It appears to have the same active ingredients as the Trimec 992. Maybe I just need to give it more time. It's been 4 days. Maybe it takes longer.

    Loader sensitivity

The knob under the seat is only for the 3-point hitch. I don't believe there's an adjustment. The high speed movement is natural. As I recall, this tractor is new to you. I'd just lower the throttle to 1/2 and get more experience and you'll get used to the sensitivity and gain smoother operation.

I love the character in that tree in your 3rd pic. All twisted and turned. Looks neat!

    WTB: Used RTV Steel Wheels

Well, I have 4 (probably, will need to dust them off) like new OEM wheels and tires off a 2004 RTV. It's what came on my RTV but I swapped them out in probably the first 10-20 hours. I'm in W. PA which is about 8 hours from Pigeon Forge. Not sure if I "really" want to part with them but could...

    First mow of the season

For the lawn and my recent spreading of weed killer, I'm trying something new. https://www.domyown.com/alligare-amine-herbicide-p-22073.html It's a 2,4-D product. It's only been on the ground for a day so I have no review yet.

    Outdoor storage for attachments

Hey @Rick Moran Didn't mean to derail/sidetrack your thread. Do you have any thoughts on cloth/stone/herbicides/fluid film? We didn't even discuss putting up a cheap shelter to cover the implements.

    Outdoor storage for attachments

You'll like that stuff Doc. It kills things faster than paint dries. ;) I "think" I use it at 3% mix. We live relatively close. Do you have anything that looks like seaweed growing, mainly in gravel areas? It's nostoc commune. INCREDIBLY hard to kill. Scythe is the only product I've heard...

    First mow of the season

Don't have time right now for a new thread. If the herbicide in the other thread was Scythe, no, I don't use it in this spreader. Scythe kills EVERYTHING. The only place I'd need Scythe in a big sprayer is for stone driveways (and I only have one stone driveway). I'm afraid of wind drift...
