I hope all members have a nice and safe Christmas. Remember the real meaning and don't be sad about material things not coming your way... We have been offered the Greatest Gift of all. That means you have too. I accepted mine quite a few years ago and even on my worst days, have never been...
Maybe Aurthuritis will see this . He is good with those machines too. Before hiring the dealer, I'd consider seeing what a new transmission cost to order. Beware though of those that may have been flooded or that are seconds and buy from a reputable source- if you go that way. Or take a look...
I bet you want to be careful of which way the wind is blowing when spraying it. .. Haha The first time I bit into a jalapeno pepper , I'll never forget.. It was like Rosanna Dana on SNL used to say.. "I thought I was gonna die".
and they chew electrical wires/spark plug wires too.. even chewed the wires to the master brake on my late parents truck... and so close to the firewall that it's hard to fix.
Also, if you have a Sam's club up there, or a big cleaning or restaurant supply dept, maybe even amazon or ebay, they sell stainless steel pot scrubbers that are heavy duty and don't rust. They are mouse proof and tough all while being airy...
Many years ago, I bought one of those mouse traps that looks like a metal box. it had an opening ( one way door) on each end and a flip lid for the bait to go in. Also the lid was for the "release " of the varmints... or chunk it in a bucket of water... It worked well until I forgot to check...
I bought a new Kioti tractor 12 years ago and the factory paint from painting it had made the filter not just stuck but stuck stuck. This was the hyd filter behind the big rear tire. I had to cut the paint around the filter top edge with a utility knife to get it loose from the metal part of...
Dixie's at home. Got here yesterday afternoon. She's a handful and has to wear the cone to keep from licking her wound. A ton of meds and no steps ( House is 4 ft off of the ground) very limited walking is hard even for a hyper collie on nerve pills. 10 weeks with no strenuous anything. She's...
We took Dixie to the Mississippi State Surgery Center (for animals) today and met with the doctor and staff. All were very pleasant and doted on Dix. The doc said that the recovery would take 8 to 10 weeks. Dixie said "wow" that has to be a mistake ! But no I said you have to be a good girl...
It's a clean break but got both bones. It going to require surgery and a plate so the estimate is 4- 6000. She's like my child and will get it done. Saddening but glad it wasn't her neck . I love this puppy . When I picked her up ( 46 Lbs) ," it hurts so bad" she said .. she put her closed...
Dixie just got her leg caught in the Roxor step and broke her front leg late this evening. The bone didn't break the skin yet and so we will be going to the vet first thing in the am. She is being still and not moving around so am relieved for that. Will keep ya'll informed.
It almost sounds like when my diesel Roxor has a clogged up EGR except that I had a check engine light on. I did add some high quality injector cleaner to the fuel - beside removing the EGR and testing with block plates. All is good now with it. Wondering if this is fuel related in your...
I think it's more complicated on the JD tractor. It's got a lot of parts and tied into the JD computer which only the JD mechanics have access to on their company's computer. I'll ask the bil and see what he says , but I doubt it's easy like I what did to the Roxor.
The Roxor's purring like a kitten now.. That egr was so clogged up... it was ridiculous . No wonder it was loosing power and puffing smoke- runs clean now though.
I had to wait 15 minutes today for the big John Deere tractor to finish it's DPF cycle before I could turn it off. It cost...
I only use the cord on my Warn. I've had it a couple of years ...They had a recall and were giving out the wireless remotes as replacements at one time. Technology is getting ahead of me. I may just have to use a come a long if this is in the future for my next winch. It worked for my Grandpa...
I agree Smilingreen. My winch is a necessity .. I high centered a pine log in weeds and the only available tree, the Good Lord put behind me. Well I was grateful for that tree and routed the synthetic cable under my Roxor , around back to the tree and gently got out with it's remote..
I...
Doc, It's been great here on the farm. I didn't remove the vacuum hoses I just did the basics to get it running again . Owners be sure to look at his later videos . The camera in those don't jump around as much. Oh yea, the egr was clogged all up when I removed it so that's why I was...
