Yes…. every 100 hrs.…Oil and filter, blow out outer air filter (replace every 500 hrs) and grease all zerks. I’m coming up on my 600 hrs and I’ll also change out the hyd fluids (Super UDT2) and filters (the Mx sked calls for 400 hrs…I’m overdue on that.)

I grease every time I can talk myself into it.…. at least at every oil change. (100hrs)

I can’t be enthusiastic about running a cold engine at high rpm to “warm it up” faster. I prefer to let it warm up at slower speed and avoid high rpm until the engine has reached normal operating temperature. As for the use of the hand-throttle… it will be helpful with running hydraulics...

The problem isn’t with the Kubota Parts People…the problem is you don’t appear to know enough about your vehicle…to enable them to locate the parts you think you want. They have to know your year, model and serial number…and you don’t yet even know what model you have. Be patient, ask questions...

When I was an axle “tech” at Toyota (early ‘70s) we never used lock-tite.… carrier bolts always had locking-tab-washers.

Nope…got the exact OEM replacement part. I believe the difference might be that this is a John Deere “generic” or common engine supplied to various mfr’s of construction-equipment…who may have additional accessories installed by the equpt-OEM. This was a JD 4239D engine in a 1987 Ferguson...

The pulleys do not need to be “timed”…but they should be aligned. ;)

Yep… in fact…if your engine oil goes a loong-time without getting dirty…. it’s NOT doing its’ job. The BEST oils pick up the dirt very quickly.
