    pto drive shaft

JW, I might not understand your problem, but as I understand it, you need a drive shaft that is 19" long. So why wouldn't you take each side of your 27 1/2" drive shaft and cut it to 19 inches, then marry the two together to end up with one drive shaft that is 19" long? I don't understand how...

    IH 284 Troubles.

I have a gasoline Massey Ferguson 35 that used to do what you described. I did everything you described, but what finally fixed it was having the gas tank cleaned and relined. Don't know if that will work for you, but it sure cured my problem. Bob

    Kubota BX2200

I also have a BX 2200. My tank developed a leak, but was repaired when the tractor was about 6 years old. It was out of warranty, but my dealer (Carver Equipment in Dunn, NC) got Kubota to take care of it. I have not experienced the other problems you are having with the engine. Bob

    I finally started my pond

If you don't want to invest in a crimping tool, you can use these fittings: http://www.probite.com/ I just used them to plumb an outdoor faucette in my garage. The fittings are more expensive, but are so easy to use. The fittings can be used on pex, copper, and CPVC. Many towns in our area...

    Kubota BX2200 problem

Janalator, the $114.50 was the price on the invoice for the solenoid. I have no idea how expensive the solenoids are - I can only go by what the dealer charged me for it. Bob

    Replacement Seats for BX Models

I did not catch it that this was an old thread, so fired off an email to my dealer. He told me the program ended a couple of years ago and a new seat now will be in the $160 range. Hate I missed seeing this post a couple years ago. Bob

    MF 35 Gas Tank

I have had the repaired tank on the tractor for a little over a month now, and have not found any leaks. Yesterday while filling up the tank, I spilled a little gas on the tank. I wiped it off with a paper towel and noticed some of the paint came off onto the paper towel. Guess the "gas...

    rear mower

I used to hate to have to change the blades on my mower. Seems like the bolts were always stuck because I could not remember whether they were reverse threaded or not. Usually I ended up tightening them rather than loosening them, all why laying on my back under the mower. One day I was in...

    rear mower

I also have a King Cutter from TSC. It is o.k. for lightweight use. In other words, you can't use it for cutting anything but grass. Mine is one of the light duty ones - it only has a single belt driving the blades. They have another one that has a wider belt - the belt looks like two belts...
