    Newbie Considering X1140, Feedback Welcome

We chose the X1120 in Orange for safety as well. That is why I'm always lusting after camo, because I would have liked it better. But we travel between fields on township roads and anything you can do to help visibility is a plus. some drivers treat the townships roads like its Daytona. I am sad...

    Newbie Considering X1140, Feedback Welcome

One other major difference between the RTV's and other UTVs is the go pedal. Unlike a gas/brake set up like our cars and trucks, the Kubota uses something I've heard just called a go pedal. Mash it and it goes, let it go and the RTV stops. In low gear this can be abrupt until you get the hang of...

    Sold my RTV-XG850

We had our decision narrowed down to a Honda 1000 or the RTV X1120. I had the same experience with the Honda. A loud whining interrupted only by a loud clack just before the gear changed (in automatic mode.) Also learned it was having some first year clutch problems. The X1120 was much safer on...

    Best aftermarket RTV accessory dealer

Welcome from a fellow X1120 owner. I had good luck with orangeaftermarket.com. Now they don't sell direct to the public but they do sell to the dealer and you can get anything they have. Many of the ATV/UTV companies have a Kubota section. Sidebysidestuff.com is good and even Kubota has...

    Always Hot Battery Power Lead

On the x1120, there is a ignition switched electrical harness wrapped with blue tape. It is located under the hood near the steering column and ebrake handle. I believe there is a bayonet style and a six way plug available or you can replace with your own connector. Hope that helps.

    Veteran's Day

My Dad said it was college or the military after high school. I hated college so I joined the Air Force. I leaned a trade that put me on a far better course in my life. It also taught me about loyalty, self-sufficiency and about how to be a better man. I had to work with other branches in my job...

    Here's a "Talk About Anything" - II

Well the Wife and I finally got around to watching Clarkson's Farm. We watched the entire season and laughed ourselves stupid. The language is a bit too salty for kids and even for us sometimes. But watching this guy spend money was just entertaining as heck. It also have some insight into the...

    Sportsman 500 H.O. Question

Like most of us, I rely on my equipment to get us back home after work or fun. If you have seen repeated examples of poor engineering or parts, my opinion is get rid of it. Life is too darn short to just live with something. I can't afford the really sweet rides. So I want what I do have to be...

    Here's a "Talk About Anything" - II

I am a Hallmark Channel widower. For the next month, Hallmark is showing all its sappy Christmas love story movies, equipped with B and C level actors. I have had to resort to using the other TV or seeking refuge in Clarkson's Farm on Amazon video. Its a sad time for men.

RTV-XG850 Sidekick: Which model do I have?

It may say on the paperwork you got from the dealer. Mine was on there. I think it specified General Purpose, Orange.

Did the 20 hour oil change on the Sidekick: Why remove skidplate?

I drop the skid plate twice a year. You would not believe the crud that collects there. Like almost a 5 gal bucket full of mud and rocks. Even a dead chipmonk, RIP. I also take a floor mats out and wipe everything down and reapply fluid film.

    Estimated RTV Delivery

Very sharp!! I hope you can get the skid plate/hitch extension. It really completes the package. Also, if you pick up any metallic vibration, I used washers between the shield and the unit to provide just a little air space.

    Here's a "Talk About Anything" - II

I'll second that. A very well maintained property! I only have 13 acres but I could spend a lifetime clearing dead trees, fixing slips, maintaining trails. We spent 8 hours one day and 7 hours the next just clearing trails and mowing. The Ash trees are falling daily and the trees are usually too...
