    New Holland TC29D

Nothing changed as far as RPM's or where I buy my fuel from. My supplier may have changed something but that I don't know. If my mower was pulling my tractor down I think I would notice it since my deck is on the upper side as for size/hp for my tractor. It seems to run fine but a major...

    You know what I want??

When you go into a New Holland shop most have a wall hanging that has the events of the Ford/New Holland Tractors. There is pictures and general data of each but I can't find where I can buy that poster. The dealers tell me they can't buy them but new ones are sent out once every year or so...

    New Holland TC29D

As of late my New Holland TC29D is going through a lot of fuel. I used to get by with 4 or 5 mowings of an hour or so each but now I don't think I could get two mowings out a tank. The fuel filter is clean, the air filters are good, I have no smoking going on other than the normal at start up...

Want some water with that fuel?

I think them cans were around before Obama was POTUS. Either way them cans are a piece of crap. I drilled a hole and used one of the replacement vent kits from another manufacture. Works pretty good.

Want some water with that fuel?

I use this stuff here. I have no reason why I use this other than it is what the local guy stocks. I have no problems with it. Power Service

Want some water with that fuel?

about every 3rd tank I add conditioner. As for the Mr Funnel I am not totally sold on them really getting any water out of the fuel or I am getting fuel with no water in it.

    New Rotary Cutter

There was an auction here about a year ago that had about ten of them in various different sizes. I could not stick around long enough for the auctioneer to get to where they were otherwise I might have brought one home. None of them had the PTO shafts for them though. Seemed to do the job...

    rear mower

I still wished someone made a rear finish mower pull type rather than on your 3 point hitch. I have way too many trees to get around and the 3 point hitch style just don't work well.

    Do you fertilize your lawn?

It has been tested by two different organizations. Same results. If I don't put the nitrogen on it I will have rust. The rust is extensive as when mowing it will turn my whole tractor rust color.

    Do you fertilize your lawn?

We have no nitrogen in our lawn. I start out in the spring with a starter 9-23-30 at 150 lbs per acre. Then about 6 weeks later I hit it with 19-19-19. As soon as the rust starts showing up I hit it again with 19-19-19. Then in the fall I will do a 9-23-30. If I do the fall then typically I...

    Tiller Size?

As long as we are talking tillers, here is my mistake today. I have tilled over this area must be 40 times in the last ten years. I knew there was a pile of barb wire and fence posts on my neighbors property but did not realize the wire was buried yet under my property. Well now it is all on my...

    Tiller Size?

I have a 60" for my TC29D and works great. My neighbor uses it on his John Deere 4110 which is about 18 hp at the PTO. He has no problems but I am sure has to run slower. We don't have any Clay around here. murph

John Deere Parts - Aftermarket or Original?

I can't give you any links or anything but my opinion on aftermarket parts is, small items such as relays, filters, starters I am ok with the aftermarket. Clutch probably would be ok also but the major stuff I like to stay with the original.

Just go drive it and have fun. You will learn as you go. I have the TC29D. If you have Super-Steer watch it with that loader. Can get a bit tipsy with heavier loads. There is a pucker factor there. Oh and welcome to the forum.
