Pop I've had several GS dogs and this guy is the smartest, he is 5 now and I've been able to train him everyday since I retired. He knows what bad animals are and what animals aren't going to give us problems. He does a tour of the open property about every half hour, once he leaves it takes...

My GS relates to the RTV-900 and the F-350 as big truck and little truck, if I say big or small he knows which one to go to. If I don't tell him he can recognize which key I pick up from the key rack and goes to sit by that vehicle. GS dogs are smarter than a lot of people I know.

    4 H Clubs

I spent the entire day judging 4-H members on their speeches and demonstrations, junior to senior. I don't know if any of you have ever had the opportunity to do this but it is the most rewarding day you can have. These smaller adults ranged in age from 7 to 21 and are so grown up with so much...

Thanks Pop, I missed the most critical point. My wife enjoys the trip now, I never realized how much she didn't enjoy the other scenario. In fact I now like to sit back and have her drive and both my wife and German Shepherd agree they like this scenario better.

    Open Your Eyes Kubota

Mark I worked in the hydro carbon industry for just shy of 40 years; after reading your comment, I couldn't help but think about a saying our maintenance people had for engineers "engineers don't make mistakes they just make revisions". Some thought it was great and created lots of overtime...

    Where's Doc

Collie this is a great story thanks for sharing, as I get older it seems like my brain has heard too many bad news stories and I need some good news stories to keep me sane.

    Where's Doc

Here is a pic from the ebay ad. As you'll see it was a Texas Truck. It is a little dirtier today but still a darn nice truck. I love it. :D Doc that is one smart looking farm truck.

    Where's Doc

You can buy a diesel truck for $50K, my 2006 F-350 was a lot more than that before tax. What really sucks is it will rust out before 8 years are up.

    Official Kubota Response to me!

The only thing that gets engineered for a rear end is toilet paper. Didn't know Kubota made it.

I agree pop,I lost my need for speed a long time ago, I have the RTV 900 and it is fast enough for me, one time I wanted to go from point A to point B as fast as possible, now that I finally grew up and retired I like to enjoy the trip more than the arrival. I spend so much time stopping for...

Hell of a response, I'd expected something better than that.

    RTV-X1100C Information

That's too bad PT, I sure hope Kubota gets this problem sorted out for you guys. After putting so much time and effort upgrading your machine this has to suck big time. Thanks again to the members who identified this problem before someone got hurt or seriously wounded their RTV.

    RTV-X1100C Information

I'm jealous, I would so love to have the clam on my backhoe. I cleared somewhere around 20 acres for my new house and what misery I had removing all the big rocks and stumps. Initially I thought I could put my plane down here; never going to happen.

    New to me

I'm not familiar with the early RTV's but there are many pioneers on here who can comment.

    RTV-X1100C Information

Thanks tailrotor, I appreciate the work all you AME's do, kept me and many others shiny side up for so many years. We couldn't afford the scrutiny in the RTV world but we certainly want a sense of quality and reliability.
