And here are the Snow plow pics. Neither it nor the decks have ever been used. Heh, not much call for a snow plow down here.:yum: Ted

    Rototiller Roto-ette

Found these attachments to a 1947 (I think) Roto-ette, the precursor to Troy-Bilt. Two 19" Mow Tiller decks, and a 32" Snow Plow (Plow Pics in next post). Also the frame (yellow) with wheels, but no engine, transmission or tines. Anyone interested in old tillers? I shouldn't strip and paint...

    Garden Update

Hi Dean About your flag lighting solution. I also believe in using whats available, what's on sale, etc. Were these left over from other projects or do each contribute some unique highlight or shadow fill capability? Just curious. :yum: :yum: (I'm trying to get my tongue out of my cheek...

SHOW us your diesel storage/filling set up.

Thanks, Dean. It seems to me it would be possible to engineer an alcohol removal process using the above. A five gallon Blitz container, a recirculation pump, a few feet of marine clear fuel line and a 2 1/2 gal graduated sediment bowl. Assuming low efficiency, 10% ethanol and "batching" it...

New project - 4WD Articulated Tractor

Hi Mith Kohler started taking orders for their new diesels 1 Feb., but I have a feeling you will be leaning more toward one of the Chinese knockoffs, if you're gonna drop in a new one. Used, I understand the VW diesels are pretty solid, and adapter plates are readily available. But you're...

    Hello from South Fla

Welcome to where it's at, Howard. You'll like it here. If you want to get these guys off your case post some pics. Hey Doc I just noticed (have been busy getting other peoples' machines ready for spring) the little blue PacMan is no longer puking into Dougster's coffee. I guess it's...

    Do You Use Tire Goop?

Hi Brandi China Berry and China Tallow are two different trees. When I was a kid, we made pump guns that shot the slick China Berries on the second pump. Made out of bamboo and an oak plunger. China tallow makes a fruity lump with three seeds inside. It will out grow anything tree-like I...

    tractor will not start

Welcome to NTT. On some older Craftsman machines the switch opens when the operator is present. If so, just unplug the switch connector under the seat. If that doesn't do it, then try shorting the terminals as Jerry said. If you hear a 'click' when trying to start, I would suspect...

    Do You Use Tire Goop?

Sorry for resurrecting an old post. If I remember correctly back in the 60's the King Ranch cleared mesquite with a BIG anchor chain strung between two D8 Cats. I don't remember the details but they crawled along and left a BIG burn pile every half mile or so. One way to do it I guess. We...

Hi Jim Well the pictures of the house made it so you are posting pics.:thumb: Stop and think. Did you do anything differently in this thread than the little house thread? Are they the right format with a file extension? Can you open them with a different photo viewer than the one you...

    engine replacment

Welcome to NTT. I have a BIL that's a captain in the next town. It seems to me each firehouse has at least one resident mechanical genius that can give advice firsthand, especially diesel. If not, go up the ladder a bit to find one. With someone looking over your shoulder you...

Okay... Who is the NTT Comedian???

:letitsnow: :letitsnow: Y'all keep throwing these snowy things in your posts. Dang sure won't happen around here. The sun's trying to go down and drop it back into the 60s. I might have to shut some windows. Heh. Just take a look at zip 77627. :yum: :yum: I got a lot done today...
