No chains - No problem! When I bought my Polaris Sportsman in 2001, I sprung for the $70 chains. Used them once and never put them on again. I can't imagine how deep the snow has to be before the 4 wheeler can't handle it with bare feet. That being said, I much prefer the heater and power...
