I'm going to have to order in.. I started looking for a new mechanical fuel pump recently but the costs to ship it from the US to here is more than the cost of the parts in most cases! I think I'll have to bundle my orders to try to cut down on the shipping costs... I may need a little help...

And with the price of petrol recently exceeding $8 per US gallon over here (and climbing), I won't be using it for my daily driver... But I will be using it once in a while to move it 50 miles from point A-B... (B = Beach) leave it at B for a couple of weeks and then bring it back home to A...

It's the same mind set over here Art. Its the disposable society we live in... Anyhoo... I got the ol guzzler running earlier this week! The carburettor was gummed up with gel and rust and the petrol that was in the fuel tank had gone bad after sitting there since 2006. Such a shame to have to...

Hey guys, long time no see... Life has been keeping me pretty busy of late and I haven't been logging on much. The new job takes 100% of my time and when I get home I got too much to do... so sitting at my computer and surfing the internet has taken a distant place in my priorities!! Anyway...

I called over to my local MTD service centre for some information. I thought it may eventually be of some use to others here, so I scanned it.

That photo was taken quite a while ago and I'll be honest, that little greenhouse did not fair well. Once the wind gets under it, it goes off like a sky rocket. The last attempt I made to keep it in one place had concrete blocks on each shelf and I had it tied to the wall with rope and eye...

Hey guys, I've got a mid 90's White (MTD) ride on mower that has a problem. First off, I thought it was the drive chains slipping on the axle sprockets and so I replaced the bronze axle bushings. It didn't solve the problem. So now I'm thinking the problem may be inside the tramsmission...

Dewalt is a lot cheaper in the states too Mith. I bought a Dewalt combi in either HomeDepot or Lowes I cant remember which :rolleyes:, in Florida a couple of years back for $500usd. My dewalt grinder is pretty much the same. Battery lasts maybe 5-10 minutes, depending on what I'm doing. For cutting, it drains the battery pretty quick, but for cleaning up welds and such, like using a flap disc or similar, the bettery lasts a lot longer... A big inverter capable of running a...

A few pics of my core aerator. Promised to post them last year but never did. Took a standard agrifab 48" tow behind aerator, removed the wheels and draw bar and adapted it to fit on my 3pt. A bit too much weight when the drum is full of water but it sure does get max penetration (and some)...
