Just got done installing mine. I removed the pot from the board and put about 8" of wire so the board wasn't hanging from it. I ended up 3D printing a knob for it.

I bought that manual tire changer to do the tires on my X900 that I had and it's a breeze. The hard part is trying to get the beads seated. Dave

I guess we'll see how it all unfolds when I finally get around to putting it in. I was also thinking about mounting it near the wiper switch instead of up higher where the previous pictures showed it installed by the radio, but again we will see how it all plays out. I will post an update when...

I might separate the pot from the board so there's not so much hanging on off of it and might make it easier to tuck the board in there.

Good info gents! Mine will be here tomorrow and I'll install on my 2 month old X1100. Just wanted to confirm that it's a round shaft and not D style so I can 3D print some knobs ahead of time and see what style of knob I like best on it. Dave

Looks like there's 2 different part numbers depending on serial number. Maybe the other part number is the correct one?

When I replaced the one on my X900 I took the ends off of the old cable and put them on the new one, maybe it's the same way.

I've always used Power Service in the white bottle also. Only gelling problems was when I used Howes.

Messick's is showing a replacement for that part number. The other dealer shows K77700-00844 as the correct one, so who knows which one is actually correct at this point. I looked it up on MB Tractor parts and got a different part number. I also downloaded the PDF with X1100 specs and it shows 670.

I just poked around online and the specs I've seen on a few websites were 670 and 700 CCA for the battery so take your pick. Dave

I had the same problem on my X900 and I just adjusted the cable that attaches to the lever in the cab.

I've had these hanging in my garage for a few years and I'm more than happy to send them to you if you think they would work out for you.
