I have occasionally driven off with the parking brake partially engaged, and although I have realized it not too soon after, it is easy to do - especially if the brake is not pulled really tight. To help prevent this I installed a noncontinuous beeper. It does work and although a bit of an...
Hello Alan, Welcome to this forum. Many regulars have great insight on RTV's and their maintenance. What type of add-ons are you considering? What have you ordered as equipment with the order from Kubota? You will certainly find your new machine to be a joy to use. Cheers-
The crank windows on my 2022 X1100C - especially the driver's side - have been difficult to crank down and especially up. Well, I finally decided to pull the panel off the door to see what the problem was. I didn't see any way to adjust the mechanism and the metal track seemed well greased. I...
I just purchased this item when I saw it was listed at $21.00. Fit well and it is from ATVWORKS.com. I went to their website and they have it listed for $39.00! I am thinking of purchasing another right away.
That is really interesting! Glad you got it working - I love the unit - especially when snowing. Not sure why the wiring in my machine is a bit different. It did take me a while to figure it out.
It's been a while since I installed mine. The schematic I included in an earlier post (#13) worked for me. I do remember have something not work properly with the way I wired it first. That is why I posted my schematic. Sorry I can't provide a clear answer for your problem. I found that the...
This is what I did! I didn't have the reverse beeper, but I purchased the switch and bracket and placed my reverse light exactly where you did. It is so nice to have it come on automatically. I have a rear work light that is wonderful, but having the light come on in reverse is really nice...
This is good advice - I add that the suction filter in the hydraulic tank should be taken out and cleaned. Perhaps under load this filter is preventing oil flow. It is a very fine metal screen and is often not looked at. In fact the dealer from whom I purchased my first RTV did not know about...
Yes, the X 1100C is an amazing vehicle and moving snow is a breeze with how well it works! I have a F350 with a 9' plow and it hardly gets used as I much prefer to plow with my RTV. I have close to 1.75 miles of dirt road and two drives off a main road and the RTV does it all. Sorry I can't...
I bet it is bias for stronger sidewalls. The tread looks similar to the Sedona Coyote tire (see link below). After 10,000 miles on my original Worksite tires I replaced them with these tires and found them to be really good...
Yes, Neil Messick said they are special tires developed for Kubota. I can’t read the sidewalls from the pictures, but the trade is a bit more aggressive than the worksite tires, but still good for plowing snow, landscaping, hauling stone, logs, etc.
The best I can find is: HDMP (Heavy Duty Multi Purpose) 25 x 10-12 6 ply
Here is a PDF Spec brochure I found: https://lanoequip.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/rtvx.pdf
Here are pictures of the "rubber cover" on my 2022 X1100C and the additional shield I installed to help keep debris from falling between the dump body and the cab - especially when loading from the bucket of my tractor.
I've been through the Service Manual (WSM) and there is no mention of this that I can fine, but the Owner's Manual mentions it on page 90 (my copy anyway) as something to check, but it does not mention a part number. It does say call your Kubota dealer for ordering. In the Owner's Manual it is...
