X series straight shifter upgrade kit

There's two issues with the pre 2024 rtv shifting. The first is the straight cut gears in the gearbox that as the machine sets on an incline the lash will be gone and there's friction between the teeth. This improves with miles. The second is mal adjusted hst speed lever causing the swash slight...

Two questions from a ‘newish’RTV owner.

Starting the engine to raise the bed won't affect your oil level that much, just start raise shut off and check then wait a minute and check again you will see what i mean. The battery shouldn't be loosing charge just from starting. If you have alot of electronics radios amps etc then your draw...

    X1140 noise while accelerating

I hope it is the alternator belt. It doesn't squeal in neutral at any rpm or peddle? Only while moving?

    RTV X1120d Won't start

Very unusual for a lift pump to fail overnight. I'll gamble you are sucking air at the fuel bowl.

Right rear wheel locked up ‘21 rtv1140x. 129hrs

Yes sir your welcome. Now just incase there are others following i will close with just one more comment for posterity. Always correct the linkage adjustments and check high idle rpm before tearing into your hst. Always begin at the peddle disconnected from the push pull cable and adjust the...

Kubota RTV 900 transmission problem - hardley moves in gear!

please remind me? What is the max no load governed speed of the engine? What is the max governed engine rpm with the transmission in high but stalled? Would be good to know the pressure at the same rpm?

    New rtvx1100c not

I had the dealer come out and look at my x1100c and make an offer for trade on a new one just like it. He told me probably half a dozen times i will call you in a few days with offer. That's been two weeks ago. Decisions

Right rear wheel locked up ‘21 rtv1140x. 129hrs

What your running into most likely is the push pull cable that attaches to the peddle on one end and the bellcrank at the other is just slightly out of wack. You always want the bellcrank to rest in the detent at the highest possible peddle. The way you adjust this is to loosen the clamp that...

Looking for RTV drive motor pistons

What you are trying to do is a bad idea. Replace the whole rotary valve assembly. Get a new assembly or buy a complete used one on ebay?

    New RTV-X-CAB

If they think I'm going to give that much more just for a few features they are crazy. I love my x1100c and it has and still works hard every day. I can buy a roxor for the difference in trade price they want for me to trade into a new x1100c. And keep my old machine

    New RTV-X-CAB

If your having trouble shifting all you need to do is adjust the linkage. Your hst speed control lever is resting to far toward swash engagement at neutral peddle.

    RTV K-Connect Questions

Sorry i don't have a k connect but i do have a solution for taking the skid plates off for service. Just get an oil evacuator and suck out the oil from the dipstick tube on the engine. The transmission drains aren't covered by plates

Right rear wheel locked up ‘21 rtv1140x. 129hrs

Congratulations. The whole performance spectrum is programmed into that belcrank. With everything in spec as the peddle begins to move the rpm rise and the swash begins to tilt. The power curve of the engine matches the hst perfectly. Changing relief pressure as long as they are in spec has...
