    Question concerning tilting the bed

There is a control lever to the left of the driver's seat. Up raises the bed, down lowers it. Don't confuse the parking brake with the hydraulic lever. Number 10 below.

    Question concerning tilting the bed

If the machine isn't running you can hold the hydraulic valve open and lift the bed. There is a safety block originally kept on the machines frame with a small cable that fits over the hydraulic cylinder to keep the bed up.

    Water pump leaking

For me it has been a crap shoot with more "aftermarket" parts not working. Lately I stick with Kubota Parts as my first option because when the "aftermarket" doesn't work then I spend the money and buy the Kubota parts. Basically throwing money away thinking I am going to save money. I also...

    Water pump leaking

Drain and renew. We used to recommend "Bars radiator leak" as an annual treatment to keep the system clean. I haven't seen that product in ages. I know there are lots of different types of antifreeze, but on my Kubotas I use yellow Prestone 50/50 mix.

    Water pump leaking

Back in the 80's when I worked at a service station we saw this quite frequently. The seal is bad and it needs to be replaced, we always replaced the water pump instead of rebuilding it. Recently while working on my x series 1100 I had to remove the water pump. I called my dealer and was...

    Rtv x1120DD not moving

Mike I assume you discovered something catastrophic or decided the repair isn't worth the effort. I am basing this assumption on the fact you are parting out an RTV-X1120D.

    Dome light switch

I too have been thinking about doing the above mentioned modification. It did not occur to me to put the switch where you did. My idea was to put the switch on hinge side of the door in the dash plastic. My location requires a longer run of wires and lots more labor the run the wire. Did you...
