I would think a coast valve would actually increas u-joint wear, you will be loading and unloading them more often wouldn't you?

After the adjustments it will not run out of power before traction...mine will take off spinning the tires now....wouldn't do that before the adjustments.

I don't think you'll find any for the gas 500 unit, that's more a diesel thing. If you do a google search for the servo adjustment on your RTV 500 you will be good to go....also if you have a digital timing light with a tach you can increase your WOT rpm to get more power. From the dealer...

I think I'll spray mine down pretty soon here myself, I sandblasted the rust off my bed and sprayed bed liner material into the bed...hopefully it will hold up a bit longer than the Kubota finish did.

No problem, Fluid Film is available at most if not all John Deere dealers if that makes it easier than ordering. I purchased it in gallon containers for slightly over $30 and I spray it out with a cheap undercoating gun. If you don't have an undercoating gun or compressor they sell it in...

The other thing about it's consistency is if you drive down many dirt roads/trails it will create a nice layer of "gunk" it's great stuff. When I bought my last new Super Duty I sprayed it with Fluid Film right away...not a speck of rust under it yet....I drove on a lot of heavily...

It's been awhile but I believe they were about $80. I only run them on the rear and they are a great chain. I plowed in 2WD most of the time after I got them last year.

I went with the super diamond studded chains made by ICC last winter and they were awesome...night and day traction difference.

Even if you can you will not want to, with the diamond studded chains on my RTV 500 traction isn't an issue regardless of snow depth. If you put something that bites like that on the front not only will it put heavy load on your front end it will also make turning difficult.

I'm with you there....that's a lot of $$ to plunk down. Usually I lead into buying something big like that for awhile...I finally break down and buy it...then I second guess myself about it for the next couple months.

I've got no idea but I originally used 1000 lb aluminum ramps to load mine on the utility trailer and bent both of them putting it on the trailer. The first time I loaded it on my trailer I had a bit of butt pucker going on. Last year I went to a trailer shop and had an awesome loading gate...

I recently ordered an American Eagle V-Force plow for my RTV 500 and got it in yesterday afternoon just before I had to leave for work.....got out of work this morning and had to pull it out to take a peek. Dang that is one heavy duty little plow, I had good luck with my Eagle 60" country...

For work I generally use it for just snow plowing, I've been known to utilize it as a wheel barrow and on a couple occasions it has been used with a brush grubber to pull out trees and roots. It's the prettiest little wheelbarrow I've ever used though.:yum:

For this in a work only environment the Kubota can't be matched in my opinion. :17875:
