    I think she is done!

That's a fine looking buggy. Just out of curiousity if your able to turn the 27.5" tires well why go down to 26" tires?

What is your largest load on the RTV yet?

The heaviest load I've put on mine was my 18'6" fiberglass bass rig. It's over 2500 lbs but that's all I know on the weight. The little 500 handled it great, I did have to use low range but given my boat is likely at least twice the rated towing capacity of the buggy I guess I'll live with it. :D

    Winch Wiring?

Another thing alot of guys are doing is replacing the cable with a boat winch strap, especially if you use it to plow with. The wide contact area helps it last a bit longer, the downside is you'll only get 20-25 feet instead of 50 ft of cable.

    Winch Wiring?

The Kubota kit comes with all the wiring to go direct to the battery, you will also have wiring to go from the contactor block to the switched power source plug on the buggy. The instructions are very clear, once you get the kit you'll see how easy it is. Doesn't take anytime to put it in.

    It's here!!!

Congrats. It looks great, I can't wait to hear about those tracks. If they work well I can sense a set in my future for mine.

    RTV Radiator Relocation?

Does he have it pushing or pulling? I can't imagine it's too nice in the summer if it's set up to push air.:yum:

    American Eagle RTV 500 Plow

I did consider the Cycle Country but it was recommended to me that I buy the American Eagle over the Cycle Country, I was told that American Eagle was a little better to deal with after the sale if you break something they will just replace it. I don't know how either company is to deal with...

    American Eagle RTV 500 Plow

It's just a hair beyond the edge of the tires, if the tracks are much wider the 66" might be the way to go. The 60" was what was recommended to me by the dealer where I bought my RTV as well as the place I purchased my plow from. I purchased mine from http://www.traxms.com/ I'm not sure if...

    American Eagle RTV 500 Plow

I ordered the 60" State style blade, it is designed to throw the snow further forward and to the side than their straight blade plow. It was around $600 complete. I did consider others but of the aftermarket units American Eagle seemed like the most bang for your buck and I heard a bunch of...

    American Eagle RTV 500 Plow

Here's one of my favorite features, this is still not at full lift and the blade is already about the height of the winch Here's one of the skid shoes This is the plow down from the front This is the plow mount and mount pins (It uses the same 4 bolts as the winch fairlead plate and you...

Has any rtv 500 owner used tracks???

Awesome can't wait to see the pics and possible videos. :a1: I have no idea on how to load a YouTube video, I've loaded them in my Photobucket account before and that was pretty easy but I've got no clue how to with Youtube.:confused2:

Has any rtv 500 owner used tracks???

Congrats on the new RTV, it should suit you well. If you do end up trying the tracks out let us know how they go. I've been on the fence about them myself, I was prepared to order them about a dozen times so far but always end up chickening out last minute. Of course pictures of the install...

Has any rtv 500 owner used tracks???

That's odd, you would think that a larger drive wheel would actually load your engine down more, it would act as a gear reduction reducing your speed but giving you more power by keeping your engine up in the power band.:myopinion:

    American Eagle RTV 500 Plow

That's surprising as the mount looks pretty stout. I'll find out over the winter but it doesn't look like it's going to break that easily. How many years ago did you purchase your American Eagle plow? I'm wondering if it was redesigned due to failures, they have a very good reputation and if...

    American Eagle RTV 500 Plow

I'll find out, so far it's been good but we've only gotten 6" of snow so far this year.:yum: Worse case scenario I've got a nice welder to fix it with.

    RTV 500 Tire Chains

Correct....I thought about studs but I'm not sure I've got enough beef in the worksite tires to put studs in them.

    RTV 500 Tire Chains

I never did find any chains that would fit. I think the only way I could get a decent set of chains on my RTV 500 is to install either wheel spacers to make room or put narrower tires on it. :confused2: I'm going to give the worksite tires a shot and hope for a mild winter. Worst case...

    Off Road lighting

The biggest limitation will be the relatively small alternator the RTV 500 has on them. If you use a high draw off road light make sure you have a very good battery. Welcome.
