WD40 is about the worst penetrating fluid you could use. The best is Kroil, PB Blaster is good and 50-50 ATF and acetone is really good.

I put ultra knobby tires on my golf cart and it went from very smooth to quite bumpy. Also, this time of year with the cold, the oil in the front strut is stiff and that affects your ride.

When you cut off the spark arrestor, you removed part of the structure stat stabilizes the tailpipe and now the end of the muffler is subject to cracking from vibration. the spark arrestor end goes into a receiver hole inside the muffler and that braces it. Peter

In view of the fact that I plan to be in the woods, hauling out brush and cut up trees and the duff on the forest floor is deep and dry pine needles and leaves, I'll leave the spark arrestor intact and just clean it frequently. With new bolts it will come out easily. Peter
